I just read an interesting essay about the apostle Paul and his ministry. It, I think, provides a stark contrast to much of our lukewarm, mamby pamby (sp?) attitudes of the day towards taking a stand on anything christian. The url is: http://www.the-highway.com/paul_Linder.html

Our American institutions are being taken over by atheists, agnostics, pagans, Wicca, Satan worshipers, and every other thing that the devil can dream up to destroy us! Did you know that the United States of America was founded on Judeo-Christian principals? Some of us living today would be surprised to learn that our country was indeed founded on Judeo-Christian ideas. As even much of George Washington's life has been eliminated from our history textbooks so that his absolute devotion to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is not taught in our schools. As Christians we are called to be a separate people not of this world but belonging to the kingdom of God. This is not a directive to turn over all of our institutions to Satan. I call the Church of Jesus Christ to awaken from its slumber and take back our Country. When it is available buy a ticket to a movie that does not offend our beliefs and do not support films that portray the devil as a good guy or lift up pagan religions. Support Christian music do not purchase devil music or support any institution that plays devil music. Listen, if we do not buy the good stuff only the bad stuff will be available for sale. The companies that provide our media are profit driven and have been blinded by the devil. Take a look at the bible: (Luke 19:1-10) A person named Zacchaeus who was a tax collector and part of an institution of the day that was serving Satan. Jesus called him down out of the tree and went home with him to eat supper. In doing so Zacchaeus was converted and repented of his evil ways. So follow Jesus' example convert them don't refuse to deal with them. Take back our movie industry, our music industry and our government agencies even if you have to run for public office. When election time comes find out who the Christian candidates are and vote for them remember you have to go to the polls to vote staying home will not change anything. Awake Church!! And shepherd in one of the greatest revivals that this country has ever seen!
One thing not to do is to add HBO, Cinemax, or any other movie channel to your cable service. All of these movie channels force you to support movies that lift up Satan. Our children are being lost to hell through the general media in this country. As an alternative to cable try a rental service this way you can pick only the titles you want and support Christian values not the world's values. There are some rental services that allow you to keep up to 3 CD’s in your home with no late fees and trade them for different ones as often as you like.
Remember nothing is done without prayer we need to pray for our nation, our state, and our local government every day. AND WE ALSO NEED TO HONOR GOD by taking action on those things that we have prayed.

If ever there was a time to pray, it is now. As you should know by now, today the state of Massachusetts is granting marriage licenses to gay couples.
The scripture is clear on this issue:
Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Romans 1:24-27
24: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
How God's wrath must be kindled by this decision. As christians we need to pray, pray, pray. Remember, there was a time in history when christians committed to pray and there was the Great Awakening. Now is the time for christians everywhere to pray earnestly and without ceasing.
May God have mercy. This is a tragic day in our nation's history.
