This is a very precious child of God who came into the kingdom with a bang.......turned into a new creature overnight and really became part of our church. She was soon baptised showing signs of being a powerful worship leader (and very involved in the youth group........going out with my daughter could be very challenging as she did not hang back telling people about Jesus. She was doing GREAT. She is still only 19

Prior to that we had a very very difficult relationship. It seemed like God did a miracle- HE did do a miracle. I am committed for my daughters sake to not telling the story of the past but it was not an easy one and she did not always act as a daughter should. Because of issues in the past she cannot live with me and my son.

I am not really sure what is going on. About four weeks ago we fell out over somethng trivial where I had to put my foot down and say 'no" I could not do what she wanted and she just flipped...our dear Pastor tried to intervene and she really resented it. I also messed up during the counselling and found I had not forgiven as I thought I had.

Now she seems to be speaking to other church members but not to me. She is not in church services at all and yet people ( I have kept this very discreet for my daughter's sake so not many know what happened) keep asking where she is -but others, like close friends tell me she came and hugged them and was in the church building earlier that day!

So having fallen out with her mother she is hugging her mothers close friends!!!!! It makes no sense......all she will say on the phone is "I am not talking to YOU!"

I think it is that she just got kind of blind sided by the fact that there could be such a thing in the church as correction -Our pastor was so loving and gentle that it was not something she could have taken offence at.....he merely explained a need to respect... and she has not really forgiven the past.

I am working on myself and trying to see what I got wrong in all this but I really am hurting both for myself and my daughter.

What hurts even more is that it was such a great testimony to those around who know the full story of the past - the sort of thing only God could do to restore a relationship - such a huge thing.

Please stand with me that Satan does not win and that this is quickly sorted with forgiveness being the key on both sides. There is a need for bondages to be broken and I really need wisdom

Man I also miss singing with that girl like crazy!
