Prayer partners, I have an update here as well. The girls (7,10, and 11) and the boy (13) are preparing for their baptism Sunday, and looking forward to it! This will be done early in the service, before the evangelist begins his message from God. We are praising the Lord for His work in the lives of this family. This situation has provided us with a glimpse of the awesome power of our Lord! Thank you for your prayers. Ray

I would like to update everyone on this family, a single dad with three girls and a young teen son. This is very happy news for everyone who has been praying! This father and all four of his children ranging from a 7 year old girl to a 13 year old son joined the church yesterday morning! The children joined with the promise of baptism next Sunday (which starts a week long revival), I can't think of a better way to begin a revival than with baptisms! The baptisms will be early in the service, allowing for the evangelist to mention them if the Lord chooses to have him mention them! The father joined by a statement of faith, and his sister and her husband and family were in attendance as well. This family has come a long way by the grace of God since the children were placed with him by the state! Thank you all for your prayers for this family. God provided His perfect answer to these prayers! God bless you! Ray

Praise God, yet another prayer has been answered and in such an AWESOME way!!! I am so thankful to be a part of the Family of God and in His constant love and care and it is such a joy to lift up others in need to our Heavenly Father and just watch the amazing things He does!!! Thanks for the update!! We will continue to pray about this!!

I would like to update you on this family. I talked to the dad last night. He stated the entire family, the three girls, his son, and himself will most likely all join the church together Sunday as a family unit! God has answered the many prayers! I thank you for all the prayers for this family. What a joy it is to see an entire family join the church in unison! This does not happen often anymore, and will be a special delight to see this happen now! Ray

PRAISE GOD for all the prayers He is answering!!! What a loving and wonderful Father we worship and adore!! I will continue with my brothers and sisters in Christ to lift this father and his children up in prayer and know that GOD IS IN CONTROL in this situtation and if HE be for us who can be against us??? A quick update on this post for all who have been praying. As I stated recently, this father and his daughters will be joing the church in the near future! His son will not be, but God is working in his young life as well. From my understanding, two of the three daughters will be baptized soon! I understand the father and one daughter have been baptized in the past (following salvation!!). God is moving in the church, souls are being saved, and burdens are being lifted! I am somewhat unfamiliar with such a spirit of movement, but I am very excited about what God is doing!! Thank you for your prayers. God bless you. Ray

Thanks so much for the update on this precious family...indeed God is working in this family and I have a very strong feeling the teenaged boy might come to work mightily for the Lord and be a good witness!!! I will continue to lift this father and his children up to our Heavenly Father and know that God will lead them all to the higher purpose He has in mind for each of them. God Bless you for all those people you minister to, Ray, I know the Lord is using you in such a positive way!!

Thank you for your prayers for Larry and his children. I want to let you all know that God is moving in this situation as well! All of them, outside of the teen boy, have expressed interest in church membership! I believe the two younger girls are also going to be baptized soon! The youngest is 7, I have talked to her and have absolutely no doubt that she has accepted the free gift of salvation!! She is a very bright and sharp 7 year old, and told me a beautiful story of how she came to Christ!! The next younger girl is 10 and has a beautiful singing voice that God has blessed her with, and she is starting to use it in singing some special music during church services!! The older girl is 12, and I can see God has blessed her with a talent for helping the younger children ans she is still a child herself in my opinion! The teen boy is also coming around, and I can see the day when he will begin to realize that God is real, and working in his life! Church is not new to him, but the idea of attending church is new. He loves the teen Sunday School class, and this is a very big first step!! Thanks again for your prayers. Ray

Christ for the Children, Please, how is this precious man doing? I have wondered and know God is at work with he and his children. Still sending prayers up for all of them and asking God to turn this entire situation around and make it a BLESSING to someone.....I know God has His children always in His hands!!

yes God I pray that these children would be blessed and not suffer, give wisdom and perserverance to the Dad. God let your will be done in this situation and let all things work together for uplifting and upholding the truth in all of these peoples lifes.

Father God, lift this special man up to be the Spiritual leader of his home that he wants to be and bless and help this Godly man and his four precious children to know that the Father knows ALL of our needs, even before we do and they will be provided for as they are going through this difficult period. I pray for the peace that passes all understanding to fill this father's heart and that he is able to lift all of his cares and worries up to YOU, Father God, knowing You are always in control of every situation in our lives. Hello prayer partners, I have another request for prayers. A new family has come into our church, the Jessup family. He is a single father who recently gained custody (at least temporary custody) of four of his children, ranging from a 7 year old girl to a 13 year old boy. The church recently helped him out by giving him several large boxes of food. I would like to request prayers that God would bless this family. I know this has put a hardship on him, but he would never ask for help. The children are great children, and always ready to help where they can. Three of the children (all girls) are in the childrens ministry of our church (AWANA), and are great girls! He has had his life uprooted by this, but he is determined to be the best dad he can possibly be for his children. I'm asking that you join me in praying for him, that God would grant an extra blessing to him at this time. Thank you very much. I'll keep you posted on this situation.
