Excellent point. This whole account of the events of the women discovering the empty tomb and the disciples who were so often in the presence of Jesus "considering it an idle tale" is a real lesson in faith while under stress. Then on the road to Emmaus some of them were unable to even recognize Him. How often do we have the opportunity to "see" the Christ in some unexpected way at some unexpected time and fail to see? It's a lot easier to talk about being vigilant than to actually practice it, especially when we don't expect to see Him.
Good to hear from you. Hope you and your family are doing well.

I just though the below verses in the New Testament reading today were eye openers:
And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. Luke 24:36
I do believe this happens today. Seems many people when you visit a Church and want to talk about Jesus are to busy to do so. They would rather talk about something else. But when you do find someone that is excited about Jesus and wants to talk about Him Jesus also seems to show up.
Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. Luke 24:45 This seems to always be the case with me. The closer I get to knowing Jesus the more He opens my mind to understand them.
