The strong delusion is NOT the RAPTURE. It is the belief that people will have that the anti-Christ is actually God. People have been believing in the pre-trib rapture for hundreds of years. The strong delusion is after the rapture and during the tribulation.

There are many errors in the ever popular "bail out" pre-trib rapture doctrine.
Beware of the false teachers of the pre-trib rapture doctrine. The joke is going to be on those who have bought into this Heresy of pre-trib rapture.
And I say this out of loving kindness. It is sad to see so many deceived.
Howeevr God said if they want to be deceived He would send them strong delusion.
Pre-trib rapture is quite a delusion!

Nonsense! The Bible was not changed for any Rapture doctrine!
By the way Ezekiel 13:20, the NASB is the most literally accurate English translation from the original languages.
The KJV has a lot of mistakes. (Why do I have the feeling that you will bail out of your accountability for this knowledge?)
Several of the debates we have had here boiled down to a KJV mistranslation. Even your name is based on a mistranslation. You thought to insult us, but the joke is on you.

There's no magic here like in the verse you quoted.
A systematic, literal interpretation of all New Testament passages relating to the Rapture will lead to the pretribulational viewpoint: that, at the Rapture, all living believers will be translated into heaven at least seven years before Christ's Second Coming.

Wherefore thus saith the LORD God;Behold,I am against your pillows,wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly,and I,will tear them from your arms,and will let the souls go,even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
If one were to look in a modern day version,other than KJV,such as the NIV they would find this verse changed to say hunt birds instead of souls.
It was changed to cover up for the ever popular bail out rapture doctrine.
I think as time draws nearer to the end God will open many peoples eyes to the falseness of the pre-trib rapture doctrine.
His Word,Church History,and some investigation on their own will prove to those who really care about what's true and what's not true.
New Doctrine is false doctrine,there's no way around it.

The Left Behind FICTIONAL books cashed in on Y2K fears,making a nice chunk of money for the writers. This new one Edge of the Apocalyspe is cashing in on the fears of 2012.
Ain't those false teachers of the pre-trib rapture slick? They know when the time is right to bring out another fiction book to make some serious money...LOL

I would also like to add my 2 cents here, if I may Carol.
December 21st 2012 is the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar.
On this “end-date” people have speculated that a wide array of things are going to happen: polar reversal, solar flares that cook the earth, a galactic judgment in which we will ascend to the 4th density only quickly to traverse straight to the 5th density, etc.
The Mayan Long Count, however, gives no such speculation and simply states that it will be the end of the age.
As in a new age will begin directly after December 21st 2012.
There is a lot of money in fear mongering, which con-artists and charlatans very well know.
For years now, the media, authors, movies and publishing companies have cashed in on the fear of people which is based in ignorance.
They see movies like 2012 and ask, “Oh my goodness. Could this really happen?”
The short and sweet answer is: Yes, this type of thing could happen. There could be geo-magnetic reversals, core heating and a whole host of other things that could happen.
But, the Mayan Long Count doesn’t state this…. Nor even hint at it. Actually, it’s the exact opposite. They believe a dawn of a golden age will begin to descend upon us on this specific date and not death and destruction as widely popularized by modern media.
Education people….. Truth is the key to defeating fear and ignorance….
And the truth comes from God.

Everybody is talking about December 2012. They ought to worry about Revelation 20:12! Where the Bible says: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
1. We can’t be sure about what is going to happen on December 2012, but we can be perfectly sure about Revelation 20:12.
2. There may be death and dying in December 2012, but in Revelation 20:12 the dead will be raised, the small and the great!
3. In December 2012 they are telling us the contents of some ancient books will be revealed. Supposedly these books contain our future. But in Revelation 20:12, God’s record books will be opened, containing all the works we have done in our life. We will come face to face with our past!
4. December 2012 is described in several ancient books as a day of death. Revelation 20:12 tells us that there is a Book Of Life that will be opened. On its pages are the names of the saved of all ages. These are they who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
5. When December 2012 comes, we are told that no one is safe. Young and old, rich and poor alike will all be in great danger. Few will survive. Revelation 20:12 gives quite a different picture, for God will judge every man fairly and justly according to their works.
The more I think about it, the more I think I like Revelation 20:12. It sounds like God. He is just. He is fair. He is considerate.
The more I think about it, the more I think that December 2012 sounds like a man-made thing. It just smells like men made it up.
It just feels like it is created by man.
God was just when he judged the world by a flood in the days of Noah. Not only did he punish the wicked of the day, but he was very careful to deliver righteous Noah and his family. Though all the earth was drowned, God provided the ark, so that anyone who believed the Word of God could be saved. It is not amazing to me that God flooded the world. What IS amazing to me is how few people believed God and got on the boat.
God was just when he judged Sodom and Gomorrah by sending fire and brimstone down from Heaven and burying the city beneath a pile of rubble. But he was very careful to send two angels to deliver Just Lot and his family before the destruction. Yes, God was angry, and rightly so, but you have to admit, he provided a way of escape for any who believed the Word of God. I am not amazed that God destroyed Sodom. Rather, I am amazed that Lot’s wife turned back. I am amazed that his daughters still committed incest after seeing the judgment of God on all their friends.
No, December 2012 does not have the fingerprint of God upon it. Get out your magnifying glass and look closely. It has man’s fingerprints all over it. It is a total fabrication of man.
Revelation 20:12 is God’s day of judgment, and you can rest assured that he will be fair and equitable. That is the day of the Lord. You will be glad on judgment day if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, for if you have, you will have mercy and pardon. If you haven’t, you only have a certain awful waiting for impending doom.
