I too was bought into new age antics. Like astrology and the Age of Aquarius (supposedly an age of Human kindess and technology); I was even blind to a point where I blasphamied christians and even dared call myself a christian (this was before I was actually saved). I once thought that religion was the enemy to all of mankind, but still retained some agnostic beliefs (I still believed in a christian-like god, but it was an idolatry worship). Eventually I ended up dating an ex-girlfriend from my past and she brought me back to christ (thank you lord abundently ![[thumbsup2]](graemlins/thumbsup2.gif) )and I eventually became saved.
After becoming saved things started to change, first of all I started to fear god again (beginning of knowledge) realized that god won't change his expectations. I realized how powerful satan is; I watched some recent sci-fi shows that I loved (SG-1, and Battle Star Galactica), both of these show showed hostility to christian doctorine (or some form of it). I also realized (which some of you read from my first post here) that demons are and out there to torment followers of christ and keep the unsaved in their blind state. I can no longer watch any show that portrays some anti-christian doctorine that I can easily detect or notice, because it deeply offends me.
Anyways after going through a major battle through prayer and help from friends and this bbs (god bless, btw I can sing and pray in tongues once more); I have decided to move forward with my walk with christ. ![[Cross]](graemlins/cross.gif) I will try my best to have others become saved by teaching them about christ our lord and saviour.

This is not a New Jesus at all. This New Jesus has been around for centuries. New Age books like The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ have been around for decades.
And New Age theosophy has been around since Babylonian times. This is also nothing new.
Some people go into New Age and make it out of New Age into Christianity; but the majority do not make it out. It's much like the world in that regard. Most people don't make it out of the world either, only some make it into Christianity.

I was decieved into the new age in a similar way that this author was. "The light that was dark" is a very good way of describing it. I heard new age guru's talking about living a "godly" life, and talking about seemingly godly things, and was sucked in. Once i was in, more "mysteries" would be revealed. "Enlightenment" was encouraged, and getting in touch with your "higher self" was the way of talking to god. Seeking your "inner power" is a theme that was present in everything that i sought after. The new age offers a plethora of "gods" that you pick and choose based on your own liking. One thing that i had failed to realize (but now do) that God DOES NOT conform to you, rather, it is the other way around.
I have set off on a similar quest to expose these false teachings (after being pulled out of my dark path by the grace of God and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ), but from a somewhat different perspective. I have found a vast conspiracy that involves the New Age movement, and U.N. NGO's (Non Governmental Organizations) and other groups such as the Lucis trust, World Goodwill and others.

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
There is an occult agenda at play in the background of world events, the elite of the earth have dedicated their lives to the cause of their “great work”. From the Illuminati, to Freemasonry, to the New Age movement, to many other groups, all paths lead to the same end, the artifice of the people of the earth, the enslavement of mankind. While these organizations and groups of faith are seemingly unconnected, there is an underlying unity in their desire to bring about nearly identical goals and in the service of the same master.
Some objectives of these groups include, but are not limited to:
1. The externalization of “the hierarchy”.
2. The creation of a Luciferian New World Order.
3. The destruction, or delusion of the worlds religions, particularly Christianity.
4. The setup of a new, seemingly benevolent world leader as the head of this New World Order.
5. “Spiritual evolution” to godhood, or forced “enlightenment” of mankind.
