Isn't the preacher a so called "sinner" too?

Jesus had patience with sinners but none with false preachers of his day. Why? Because false preachers, lead people to hell. A sinner doesn't expect another sinner to show the way to heaven, but so sad for a sinner to be led to hell by a so called "Christian" preacher.

Two of Jesus' own disciples were hypocrites. He predicted the betrayal of both Judas and Peter.

And a Good Thought too! In fact, Jesus had quite a bit to say to the "Religious Leaders" of his day, and None of it was good [Wink]

According to this forum there is no difference.

If someone is accused of being into necromancy and of being a mystic they are a sinner.

This is what is Biblical - In the words of Jesus -

Matthew 9:10-13 That night Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to be his dinner guests, along with his fellow tax collectors and many other notorious sinners. The Pharisees were indignant. "Why does your teacher eat with such scum?" they asked his disciples.

When he heard this, Jesus replied, "Healthy people don't need a doctor--sick people do." Then he added, "Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: `I want you to be merciful; I don't want your sacrifices.' For I have come to call sinners, not those who think they are already good enough."

Jesus even ate with sinners. We have no choice but to be 'in the world,' but we are not supposed to be 'of the world'

Strange, but I know and have listened enough to these preachers to know that their words 'do line up with the scriptures."

You have admittedly said that you never listen to their sermons and don't read their books Soft Touch.

According to your beliefs you are supposed to avoid these 'hypcrites' like the plague, so where are you primarily getting all of this garbage?

AMEN Watcher and Betty!

I have seen enough video's, read enough quotes, and known enough people who have been spiritually hurt by these teachers to know that these warnings are not just justified, but Critically Needed!

It's not discretion that's needed, it's discernment and I will testify from what I've seen on this board that both Watcher and Texasgrandma are Blessed by God with Discernment!

There has been SO MUCH Evidence given to show the errors of these teachers and yet some refuse to check it out for themselves. SO Many Brothers and Sisters here have poured their hearts out trying to show those who are decieved by these teachers just how their words do Not line up with scripture and yet they refuse to see. So if one is going to question who's being led by whom, then let the one asking that question examine all things by the light of Scripture.

Some folks will never accept the fact that the Bible gives us (all) a Clear Mandate to "Expose" (Reprove) Error, Mark False Teachers/Prophets and to Seperate from any who bring not the Doctrines that Jesus and the Apostles have taught us. Yet rather they choose to believe it or not, it is the Truth; it is God's Holy Word.

HisGrace, you have proven nothing!
Compare what the preachers teach to what the Bible says. Even Paul was not above having his teachings checked: "Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true" (Acts 17:11).

Who could teach the Scriptures more reliably than Paul? Were the Bereans criticized for comparing his teachings to Scripture? No! On the contrary, they were commended for doing so.

So why are those who question the teachings of some of the most popular preachers criticized?

The reality is we need to prove every preacher and teacher to God's Word. If they do not line up with the Word of God, then the teacher is false not God's Word. Can honest mistakes be made, yes. But, if a Preacher/Teacher repeats over and over the same mistake even after warned, then it is not a 'mistake" but fruit of a false teacher.

I have proven on different occasions that lies have been printed about some of these preachers.
Be careful if you buy into these lies. Is the devil deceiving you?

This material is being printed in massive numbers on this Board. Are people really using careful discretion when they press these buttons willy-nilly? This could be a very dangerous practise.

Proverbs 19:5
A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free.

These teachers, preachers, and ministries all teach blasphemous and destructive heresies. Most have been told and/or warned, but continue to proclaim false teachings and promote others who do the same. Unfortunately, many sincere Christians are led astray by these teachers, and often suffer severe spiritual and emotional damage as a result. Not only should these teachers be avoided, but others, especially those who follow them, should be warned of their false teachings and "destructive heresies" as well.
