WHO IS THE BEAST?
The bible actually gives us quite a bit of information about him.
Rev 19:19 says...
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
So we know he and his will attempt to war with the returning Christ, but will not succeed....
Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
We know from Daniel that he will be a king of fierce countenance....
Dan 8:23-25 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
...also called the king of the north ....
Dan 11:40-45 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
It is he who will take away the daily and 1,290 days later set up the abomination of desolation (the desolation of Jerusalem)....
Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
Luk 21:20-21 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
Mat 24:15-16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
The bible even gives information about his lineage....
Isa 14:24 -26 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
Isa 10:24-25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
Ezekiel 17 also describes his descent. The highest branch of the cedar spoken of in this riddle and parable is the last Assyrian king, Ashur-Uballit II (Eze 31:3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon......). He reigned from 612 to 609 B.C. (3 1/2 years). After being defeated, he and the ruling/warring class retreated to Haran -which, situated between the Tigris and Euphrates -on tributaries of both - was a "city of merchants" in a "land of traffick"....
"The death of Ashurbanipal in 627 bc was followed by a revolt in the court, and little is known about what took place in Assyria after that date. The Medes took the city of Ashur in 614 bc, and, aided by the Babylonians, they captured Nineveh in 612. The Assyrian army, led by the last Assyrian king, Ashur-uballit II (reigned 612-609 bc), retreated to Harran, considerably to the west and north of the Assyrian capital. This defeat marked the end of the Assyrian Empire." from:

Their descendents continued northwest over time to what is now called Germany -in a frutifl field -set by great waters -as a willow tree

It is said that the waters made them great....
Eze 31:3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs. Eze 31:4 The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
It is also said that God will take of this Assyrian bloodline -perhaps even a direct descendent of Ashur-Uballit II -and make him very powerful.....
Eze 17:22-24 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
He will also reign 3 1/2 years.
Dan 12:5-7 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
People of this bloodline call themselves Aryan today, though the word is applied and misapplied to many. In WWII they were at the heart of the group we know as Nazis.
Ezekiel 17 describes their defeat in WWI and WWII -and also describes who defeated them.
Whether or not one believes in "British and American Israelitism", it cannot be denied that large numbers of Israelites inhabit these places. Being of at least the tribe of Judah and knowing I have a great many relatives in the U.S. and in Britain, it is not difficult for me to understand that these prophecies do apply to us.
The U.S. is the first great eagle -Britain is the second ...of whom it was written....
Eze 17:9 Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
It also says they will rise again -but be destroyed by the "east wind"......
Eze 17:10 Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew (before final defeat by the returning Christ).
This is also spoken of in Daniel and Revelation....
Dan 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
(Russia/China -already growing closer -being the only powers possibly capable of fielding soldiers numbering anywhere near two hundred million... Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. )
These powers will have been gathered in the valley of Megiddo -to fight each other -before turning to fight the returning Christ....
Rev 16:14-16 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Zec 14:1-4 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
How does the beast rise to power?
In Ezekiel 17, we see a relationship between the two eagles and the Assyrian(s).
Eze 17:6-7 And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.
That is to say the Assyrian has settlements in -and commerce with -the two eagles.
These relations could be of advantage in wartime, and could even be a primary tool of warfare. (IBM is one such early example -their tabulating machines -forerunners to modern computers -were used to catalog the Jews and other victims of the holocaust -their representatives visited the concentration camps to service the machines. When the Nazis wanted people of a certain age, sex, background, skill, etc., for certain tasks... they simply ran these cards through the machines, took the results and rounded them up. When these things came to light they moved the offices which dealt with the Nazis from the U.S. to Europe.)
As it relates to their present rise, intelligence documents from World War II outline Nazi plans to return to industry....

SUBJECT: Plans of German industrialists to engage in underground
activity after Germany’s defeat; flow of capital to neutral countries.
SOURCE: Agent of French Deuxieme Bureau, recommended by Commandant Zindel. This agent is regarded as reliable and has worked for the French on German problems since 1916. He was in close contact with the Germans, particularly industrialists, during the occupation of France and he visited Germany as late as August, 1944.
1. A meeting of the principal German industrialists with interests in France was held on August 10, 1944, in the Hotel Rotes Haus in Strasbourg, France, and attended by the informant indicated above as the source. Among those present were the following:
Dr. Scheid, who presided, holding the rank of S.S. Obergruppenfuhrer and Director of the Heche (Hermandorff & Schonburg) Company
Dr. Kaspar, representing Krupp
Dr. Tolle, representing Rochling
Dr. Sinderen, representing Messerschmitt
Drs. Kopp, Vier and Beerwanger, representing Rheinmetall
Captain Haberkorn and Dr. Ruhe, representing Bussing
Drs. Ellenmayer and Kardos, representing Volkswagenwerk
Engineers Drose, Yanchew and Koppshem, representing various
factories in Posen, Poland (Drose, Yanchew and Co.,

2. Dr. Scheid stated that all industrial material in France was to be evacuated to Germany immediately. The battle of France was lost for Germany and now the defense of the Siegried Line was the main problem. From now on also German industry must realize that the war cannot be won and that it must take steps in preparation for a post-war commercial campaign. Each industrialist must make contacts and alliances with foreign firms, but this must be done individually and without attracting any suspicion. Moreover, the ground would have to be laid on the financial level for borrowing considerable sums from foreign countries after the war. As examples of the kind of penetration which had been most useful in the past, Dr. Scheid cited the fact that patents for stainless steel belonged to the Chemical Foundation, Inc., New York, and the Krupp company of Germany jointly and that the U.S. Steel Corporation, Carnegie Illinois, American Steel and Wire, and national Tube, etc. were thereby under an obligation to work with the Krupp concern. He also cited the Zeiss Company, the Leisa Company and the Hamburg-American Line as firms which had been especially effective in protecting German interests abroad and gave their New York addresses to the industrialists at this meeting.
3. Following this meeting a smaller one was held presided over by Dr. Bosse of the German Armaments Ministry and attended only by representatives of Hecho, Krupp and Rochling. At this second meeting it was stated that the Nazi Party had informed the industrialists that the war was practically lost but that it would continue until a guarantee of the unity of Germany could be obtained. German industrialists must, it was said, through their exports increase the strength of Germany. They must also prepare themselves to finance the Nazi Party which would be forced to go underground as Maquis (in Gebirgaverteidigungastellen gehen). From now on the government would allocate large sums to industrialists so that each could establish a secure post-war foundation in foreign countries. Existing financial reserves in foreign countries must be placed at the disposal of the Party so that a strong German Empire can be created after the defeat. It is also immediately required that the large factories in Germany create small technical offices or research bureaus which would be absolutely independent and have no known connection with the factory. These bureaus will receive plans and drawings of new weapons as well as documents which they need to continue their research and which must not be allowed to fall into the hands of the enemy. These offices are to be established in large cities where they can be most successfully hidden as well as in little villages near sources of hydro-electric power where they can pretend to be studying the development of water resources. The existence of these is to be known only by very few people in each industry and by chiefs of the Nazi Party. Each office will have a liaison agent with the Party. As soon as the Party becomes strong enough to re-establish its control over Germany the industrialists will be paid for their effort and cooperation by concessions and orders.
4. These meetings seem to indicate that the prohibition against the export of capital which was rigorously enforced until now has been completely withdrawn and replaced by a new Nazi policy whereby industrialists with government assistance will export as much of their capital as possible. Previously exports of capital by German industrialists to neutral countries had to be accomplished rather surreptitiously and by means of special influence. Now the Nazi party stands behind the industrialists and urges them to save themselves by getting funds outside Germany and at the same time to advance the Party’s plans for its post-war operation. This freedom given to the industrialists further coments their relations with the Party by giving them a measure of protection.
5. The German industrialists are not only buying agricultural property in Germany but are placing their funds abroad, particularly in neutral countries. Two main banks through which this export of capital operates are the Basler Handelsbank and the Schweizerische Kreditanstalt of Zurich. Also there are a number of agencies in Switzerland which for a five per cent commission buy property in Switzerland, using a Swiss cloak.
6. After the defeat of Germany and the Nazi Party recognizes that certain of its best known leaders will be condemned as war criminals. However, in cooperation with the industrialists it is arranging to place its less conspicuous but most important members in positions with various German factories as technical experts or members of its research and designing offices.

SS officers also devised a plan to eventually unite Europe....
"THE idea of a pan-European economic and political union with its own defence force was conceived by SS officers according to documents released today to the Public Record Office in Kew. Maj Gen Ellersiek and Brig Mueller, Hitler's chief of staff during the Battle of the Bulge, came up with the idea as a means of keeping Nazism alive following the expected Allied victory in the Second World War. By March 1946, Ellersiek was in charge of an underground political party called Organisation Suddeutschland. It believed in the establishment of a fully-armed United Europe, Ellersiek told a British intelligence official masquerading as a Foreign Office representative. "What was important was that Britain should realise that if Europe was to survive, we should all think 'as Europeans'," the ex-SS man was quoted as saying. The party's manifesto called for "a pan-Europe as a balance between Russia and the USA". Although the European nations would remain "independent", finance and defence matters would be decided centrally. "The good which was in Nazism still lives in the German heart," Ellersiek said. His party offered "a new revolution for Germany which will set the pattern for Europe". This revolution is to be the work of the new elite, the German prototype of the future rulers of Europe . . . which has emerged purified from Nazism and the trials of war." (Daily Telegraph 15/2/01)"
The E.U. has sought control of Britain's nuclear weapons....
The German military high command wants to create a fully fledged European army that would report to a European Union government and be financed by the European Parliament, documents obtained by the Tories show. They claimed last night that a memorandum written by senior Germany army officials on the future of European defence proved that Tony Blair was deceiving the British people by claiming there were no plans to create a unified EU military force. The document reflects a common view at the highest levels of the Germany military that the only way to achieve efficient and effective defence in Europe , where spending on the military is far lower than in America , is the full pooling of national resources. (Daily Telegraph 24 Oct 2003).A Suggestion by the German defence ministry that Britain hands control of its nuclear weapons to Europe . " The idea comes in a disturbing document from the German defence ministry setting out its aspirations for a future Euro Army. It talks of Germany 's 'visionary goal' for a comprehensive land, sea and air force financed by the European Parliament and built on the proposed EU constitution. " " The document says: 'Another difficult and delicate area will have to be addressed. That is the transfer of national nuclear weapon capabilities of certain EU countries' ". Though Germany was also restricted in its business dealings with the U.S. -not allowed to own U.S. businesses, this was changed not so many years ago.... hence... Daimler/Chrysler, ThyssenKrupp, DegeschAmerica, Siemens, etc.... expanding in the U.S. market and buying/controlling U.S. companies, etc... Germany and others are also purchasing our debt from other countries -meaning we now owe them. The Euro is currently stronger than the Dollar.
THE beast will be the last king of the north, and his relationship with the last king of the south is of great importance, as are the relationships between the previous kings of the north and south. North and south in these verses are referenced generally from around Jerusalem. The kings of the north were, historically, those of the 'crusades'. The kings of the south represent the greatest powers of the Islamic nations.
The Assyrian represents one power in Europe, but all Europe are now influence by them, and will come under their/his control. As these things relate to our modern situation, the link between Nazism and Islamic terrorism is well-documented -and includes Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda. (These
things might seem to lend validity to our present endeavors, but if we understood the extent to which our present course was chosen for us, and the ends thereof, it might [one could only hope] cause us to think otherwise.)

This crusading force is rising again, though the last ruler thereof will not be in agreement with the religious power which sits astride -rather
honoring the "god of forces".... Dan 11:37-38 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he
shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold,
and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
The rulers under him will be the undoing of this religious power, after employing it to their own ends.... Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou
sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the ***** , and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
The relationship between the king of the north and south is (and has often been) rather unstable, and will eventually result in large-scale conflict between the two groups.
Dan 11:25-26 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be
stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. Yea, they that feed of the
portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
Dan 11:27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
Dan 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
It is important to note that the following happens (is happening) round about the time of the third-to-last king of the north (and the second-to-last doesn't last long)...
Dan 11:13-14 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain
years with a great army and with much riches. And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy
people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. (This refers to yet another group -Daniel's people -the modern nations of
Israel.)
It is written of the last king of the north...
Dan 11:24 "He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province..."(KJV) or......
Dan 11:24 "In time of security shall he come even upon the fattest places of the province..."(JPS)
...perhaps a businessman or industrialist himself, (he will act before actually ruling), he will make many powerful and wealthy, but he will not be popular with the people over which he eventually rules....
Dan 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries
Dan 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
He will also gain power by spiritual/occult means...

Israel -The U.S., Britain, Australia, Israel,etc.. -are the mighty and holy people spoken of here!
These are the reasons for which God specifically states he will personally allow us to be destroyed...
Isa 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
Isa 10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
Isa 10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
Isa 10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Isa 10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
Isa 10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets
We talk human rights, but our record is much less than spotless. Change in our foreign policy, business/industrial dealings and domestic government must take place if God is to relent of that which he has purposed for us. We need to seriously consider how much human suffering -at home and abroad -is due to our policies and actions, and realize our excuses for such are not valid. This does include the present situation in Iraq and the reasons we are there. If we focus -honestly -on the good of the Iraqi people, we might have a chance at doing them some good -the operation was called Iraqi freedom, after all. However, if we are to be honest, we might find that it is in their best interest to vacate their country so as not to be an constant irritant which continually draws fire on them from other parties -and help them from afar....even if it means not attaining OUR OWN GOALS in the region. (((Having a presence in the area might seem advantageous, but be certain that enemies behind the scenes had a part in -even strongly influenced, through certain business and government connections [having been establishing them -largely unsuspected -since WWII] -our going there, knowing our intentions -even the ones of which we don't tell the public. It is a trap.)))

Men may be planning one world government, but this is not what is prophesied. It may, however, be how what is prophesied comes to pass.
To think that men from varied nations could sit together at one table to plan one world government for the good of all -an answer to the woes of the world -without some having hidden agendas or less-than-honorable motives is naive -to say the least. Even if men were capable of completely pure motives and were sincerely united in their purpose, MEN DO NOT KNOW THE WAY OF PEACE.
Rom 3:15-17 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Destruction and misery are in their ways:
And the way of peace have they not known:
Peace is the "desire of all nations", but this desire will be exploited.
One world government is an excellent idea -but not in man's hands. God will send his Son to bring it about the right way -but in the meantime, one will soon DESTROY MANY BY PEACE.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
This man will be influenced and empowered by Satan himself, and just as Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, this one will be seen to offer solutions for peace -but will exploit that desire in order to destroy.
Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.
Our leaders' plans -whatever they may be -even if they are planning one world government without our consent -would be preferable to the reality of the situation. Our own people putting us in camps would be bad enough -but a foreign power putting the whole lot of us in camps we built ourselves would really smart, so let's not only be very wary, but make certain everything we do here and abroad is honorable in God's eyes -not according to our own understanding.
Isa 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
Isa 10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
Isa 10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
Isa 10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Isa 10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
Isa 10:6 I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
Isa 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
Isa 14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
Isa 14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
There is good news, however -after all of these things, Christ will rule and war will be a thing of the past -there will be one last attempt at war after the thousand years, but it will be stopped by God (Rev 20:7-9).
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
