By deadly threat, they mean things are going to get bad!

The BBC is reporting the "Christian Aid charity has warned that 184 million people in Africa alone could die as a result of climate change before the end of the century." Did what you just read register?

184 million people in Africa alone could die as a result of climate change before the year 2100 and yet many question whether we're presently living in the end times! God help us!

Other sections of the BBC article are just as dramatic as the first paragraph, if not more! The entire article rings prophetic in content, as seen in the excerpts below:

Climate-induced floods, famine, drought and conflict could reverse recent gains in reducing poverty, it says.
Christian Aid says effects such as increased floods and droughts and a growth in areas infested by malaria-carrying mosquitoes could cause a huge rise in deaths.
Death-bringing climate change, floods, famines, pestilences, drought, and conflict! All of these are predictors of Christ's return and yet so many today sense there is no urgent need for them to come to faith in Christ. It breaks my heart because there are so many red flags warning of Christ's return in the news of our world today I can barely contain my conviction to reach the lost!
Mat 24:6-7: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Luk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Revelation 6:4: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Revelation 16:8-9: And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

The words "deadly threat" tell us many who study environmental issues for a living believe that things are going to get bad in the not-too-distant future. Why are so many in our world today ignorant of what these experts are saying? Why don't they realize the world they're presently living in is in trouble? Perhaps it's because Bible prophecy and God's judgment are no longer welcome topics in many churches today. Not only that, many Christians fail to speak of these topics outside the doors of churches that still teach the Word of God in its entirety! Let's face it. Most people have little to no knowledge of the judgment of the Lord and it's getting worse and worse all the time! No wonder the Tribulation Period is going to come as a snare on them that dwell on the earth in the aftermath of the Rapture of the Church!

Jeremiah 8:7: Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

Mankind should be down on its knees ringing the prayer bells of heaven, begging the Lord to forgive us of our many sins committed against Him, especially in light of what awaits the world in the foreseeable future. It isn't happening - one of the biggest reasons I can think of that those who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior should be reaching out to the lost here in what I feel certain is the waning hours of the Church Age.

Luke 21:34-36: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Christians, stay focused, keep looking up and tell someone - ANYONE - about Jesus!

God bless,
