Katrina Corpses Get ‘Chipped’
A company is implanting RFID tags in corpses in Mississippi to help identify the dead.

A company that makes ID chips for humans said Friday it has started “chipping” corpses in the Katrina-ravaged region of Mississippi to help expedite the identification process.
Florida-based VeriChip said it has already implanted radio frequency identification (RFID) tags into 100 corpses in the state for the Mississippi State Department of Health.
The company, which is a subsidiary of publicly traded Applied Digital Solutions, said it is also in talks with Louisiana health authorities, though no agreement has been reached.
“These bodies are in an advanced stage of decomposition,” said John Procter, VeriChip’s director of communications. “Many of them have no identification marks, no wallets, no IDs. In some cases a toe tag is not even viable.”
Mr. Procter said the procedure costs $200 to tag each corpse, though the company is providing the service for free.

Perhaps the anti-christ will be able to utilize somewhat technology already in place, but he will have his own unique techniques of putting the mark of the beast in force.
Personally I believe that this will all be done in God's own proper timing, and we don't have to worry that we are accepting that mark before certain prophecies are yet fulfilled.
Rev. 13: 16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
This will be his own identifying mark that will only be put into place at the time he comes into power.

I recently got into a debate with my boyfriend. He started reading up on that company ADS that is currently working on the implantable microchips. Last week ADS was showing live demonstrations of the chip that they're developing that is only the size of a grain of rice. They said it can be used for patient identification or allowing certain people to enter high security areas (among other things).
My boyfriend wanted to buy stock in this company b/c he felt that due to the possibility of this company being the one used during end times (the mark of the beast, implant in right hand etc) That its definitely going to be successful. Of course I thought this was absurd and said that he shouldn't even be thinking about this since he would be helping to fund what could possibly aid many people to going to hell! He feels I'm too extreme and if its going to happen anyway, he doesn't see anything wrong with it.
To make matters worse, he asked his pastor and his pastor said that he didn't see anything wrong with it either b/c no one is sure that this will actually be the major company that is used during the end times. I say if its a possibility, you do not need to be involved! Anyway, I just wanted to get everyone's opinion. To read more about ADS, just put in Applied Digital Solutions in your search engine.
