is national id the same as real id?
I just turned 22, so how many years til I have to update my license (at least with our rules now0 in Mihcigan or where can I find that out? I truned 22 around a week ago, so maybe its good I'm born a year earlier then.
My fiancee made a good oint when I told him about man made weather and project blue beam. He said our entire atmosphere and what we see could be fake then. I thought what if we think we see the moon but we don't? Could they create rain and thunder and lightnig, earthquakes, hurricanes etc?
There is another hurricane hitting Florida soon, the 15th named hurricane this season!!!!

I odn't think its racism so much as classism. I also feel bad for the people in Mississippi cause New Orleans is not the only place hit. Also, does it strike anyone as odd they can have all these cameras and media there but not good aid?
I also feel bad for the pets. supposedly, pets were just left in a stairwell at the superdome and there's a story of this boy being seperated form his dog, not by his choice.
If this happened in the Hamptons would we see the same result or in Upper Manhattan? Would they still be treated the same?
Someone made a point with celebrities too. If it happened in Los Angelos or NYC where many celebs live, would peole still be treated the same?

I'll go it one further, and hope it doesn't sound too paranoid. One thing the Katrina episode showed everyone was how insensitively the poor can be regarded in times of crisis. I dare say it seems they were treated, literally, like cattle. I mean that in the most dire sense... right down to basically leaving some to die, separating parents from children with no regard or forethought toward reuniting them later, and yeah, in some cases, shooting the unruly ones. Maybe I have worded that too harshly (and I do not live in an area that was in harm's way, so I may even be naive about a lot of it) but from everything I saw on TV, heard on radio and read in the papers... it was very disheartening.
I would really not like to wake up one morning, find myself in a crisis environment (whether real or "manufactured" in order to herd people according to the will of those in power) and be considered one of the "expendable."
I believe a national I.D. system could be ushered in as a convenient way of tagging and organizing the masses living in poverty, the working classes, and the derelict, as the process of eradicating the middle class goes forth. (I believe this has been the plan all along.) It would be rationalized as a way of not overlooking anyone in time of crisis, based on their location or even their financial status. It all sounds logical, but appearing logical and "right" is often one of the disguises of evil. One can't really fight something, no matter how wrong it is, when doing so makes you look foolish, ridiculous.

Hey David, I noticed your are from TN like myself. Yesterday a friend of mines son went to renew his Drivers License. He could not just turn over his old one, get his picture taken and go on as we have done in the past. He had to bring his Birth Cert. and SS# card.
My friend who is 47 years old, asked the people at the DMV if she would have to do the same when it came time to renew hers. They told her yes as it was going to be a part of the National ID cards. Have you heard anything about this?
When I renewed mine several years ago, all they needed was for me to mail in my money for the new one or I could have gone to the local DMV and paid the fine would have been issued a new DL.
My point is, it looks like we are getting closer by the day. I believe the National ID cards will be a first step to being chipped or marked. Whats your thoughts on this? Thanks and Shalom!

Last night, I got to thinking. Many people can't find their pets, thei relatives, their friends from the hurricane. Perhaps, it will be said after that for "peace" of mind and for "security" we will need these chips now (especially if more natural disasters are to come.)
They may show really sad videos that get us emotionally (well people in general) and yet we won't examine the validity or the consequences.
I could see a lot of people getting chips, espeically if they live around the gulf coast or in CAlifornia with their earthquakes.
Anyone else think this could be possible?
