MySavingGrace,

HisGrace is right. After the rapture, then it will no longer be the Church age. Then God will reach the world through the 144 thousand Jewish leaders, who will accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. God will not leave the world without a wittness, but the Church will be busy at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Revelation 7: 4 And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God. These were 144,000 who were sealed from all the tribes of Israel.

Vrs 9,10 (referring to the martyred from the harvest of the ministry of the 144,000.) After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a mighty shout, "Salvation comes from our God on the throne and from the Lamb!"

Vrs 13-17 Then one of the twenty-four elders asked me, Who are these who are clothed in white? Where do they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you are the one who knows."

Then he said to me, "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation They washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white. That is why they are standing in front of the throne of God, serving him day and night in his Temple. And he who sits on the throne will live among them and shelter them.

They will never again be hungry or thirsty, and they will be fully protected from the scorching noontime heat. For the Lamb who stands in front of the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to the springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe away all their tears."

That's when the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel rise to minister and save many of their own, plus others.

I was on another forum just now oddly talkin about the end times, and how different relgions fight. I said we must remember we have the same God and same Jesus. Though Jewish dont view Jesus the same, we must remember this.

I believe the rapture will take place before the triublation, also. I pray it will be soon!

Amen - I agree!! I don't consider myself an escatologist either, but I have thoroughly studied the wisdom of one who is, and he strongly believes, all Bible-based, that the rapture will occur before the tribulation.

Lately I have been thinking about ET's too. The demons and lucifer do reing from the space, see the connection?

If there is life in another planet or not, I do not know, but if there is they are not as good as we are since we are made in the Image of God, what could beat that? [Smile]

I do not know escatology as my strong point, but I will stand by and serve Jesus until He comes. If I live as long as my grand-father, then I still have alot of earthly years to serve Jesus. My grand-father was a 121 years old when he died. I have at least 74 years to serve Jeus. I Sure pray the Lord will come before them.

1 Thess 4:13-18 Read it!

If Christians break up on secondary and tritary issues, then the bond of Christ cannot be all that strong!

We are to comfort one another and not rip apart one another.

The time is ripe for Jesus to come back! Be ready!

I've felt we will have to stay and battle through the bad stuff. ITs a comforting thought to feel otherwise, but I doubt it. God needs us to help so hy would we be lifted up, unless we'd help as angels maybe. I feel all movies and things on demonic things and apolcolypses won't mean anything.

anyone notice the last starwars with similarity to antichrsit and false prophet, even saying the word peace?

and war of the worlds comin out? i've heard theories aliens will be in the end days (but i think aliesn may really be demons)

Many think the rapture is at the beginning of the tribulation, but I have found scriptures that indicate that the rapture is just before the war of armageddon.

Below Christ says that after the tribulation, he will come.

M't:24:29: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
M't:24:30: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
M't:24:31: And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Another scripture. Here the rapture is just before the final battle, Armageddon.

rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 ¶ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

However, many think there are 2 raptures, but the scriptures don't support that theory.

Here he states that the dead will rise first and then the living will join them in the clouds.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord" .

And the clincher, below John states that the ones that gave testimony to Christ and God during execution, therefore overcoming the Beast, will rise up from the dead. And he goes on to say this is the first ressurection. So the ressurection stated above is the same and, those living at that time will ascend with the martyrs.

REv 20:4 I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were allowed to judge. Then I saw the souls of those whose heads had been cut off because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its statue and were not branded on their foreheads or hands. They lived and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years.
5 The rest of the dead did not live until the 1,000 years ended. This is the first time that people come back to life.

Clearly the rapture will be at the end of the tribulation period.

Since this is the first time people have come back to life, then we will ascend with the 2 witnesses that were killed by the dragon.

11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

So we will get to talk to Enoch and Elisha while we are going up. That'll be nice.

God bless you all,

luvfreelife
