But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noe entered the ark. And knew not until the flood came and took them all away: so shall the coming of the Son of man be."
Not very much is really known historically about the "days of Noah".
In Genesis 6:1-13 we have God's account that all flesh was corrupt, except Noah who was perfect in his generations and his family. Giants were on the earth due to the disputed and mysterious mating of the daughters of men with the son of God.
There was violence and wickedness that was to such an extent that the human race had doomed itself, and God would not allow it to go on.
Genesis 6:12 says that God looked and saw that ALL Flesh was corrupted, not just humans, but animals too.
Genesis 1:25 God made all animals after their "kind" and it was good. They were not corrupted.
In 2005 we have a similar "corruption" of all flesh. Medical research of cloning and making embryos that are part human and part animal for research. Vaccines are made from tissue of aborted babies to grow the virus for the vaccine and used as a growth medium and we are mandated to give these vaccines to our children so they can enter public schools.
We've had "test tube" babies for a couple of decades now. menopausal women who can give birth.
Surragate mothers, Cloned sheep, cats and goats, and probably others animals I haven't heard about.
Marriage is certainly a hot topic as many look to expand Marriage to be between two males or two females, and prior and currently marriage/divorce and remarraige are a common part of our culture.
Mice are implanted with human brain tissue.
It's not just science fiction any longer to imagine the Island of Dr Moreau.
Was there some kind of demonic knowledge given to ancient man in the days of Noah that allowed the corruption of all flesh?
Was there indecent marriages, moral degradation, extreme disregard of life?
