7After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

I think the differences between "subdue" and "uproot" are significant. An uprooted authority is ultimately destroyed; a subdued authority still exists but is diminished. In the case of the three kings in the scripture above, it seems they remain intact but come under the rule of one king.

Like you I jumped to conclusion recently when I attended a prophecy seminar only to find out the whole think was lead by a leader who decived us from the first day. I too think that we are living in the last days and the cards are coming into play for the anit-christ to come on the scene. I am excited that the rapture could be any time. But, we still need to be working and praying for our rest is not ours yet. Soon we will be going home for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

This indeed is very interesting! But let us be Very Careful not to jump to any conclusions yet… But here's something interesting:
Daniel 7:24
And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
So taking it JUST from this verse (and nothing else) it would appear that the AC will arrive After these 10 kings and then uproot 3 of them.
Let us watch and see what happens here…
I’ve learned a very important lesson recently about trying to pin the tail on the prophecy (so to speak)… I was convinced that the RCC was the *hore in Revelation, but I was wrong about this. Although the RCC is as Apostate as they get, I’ve been shown through scripture that Israel/Jerusalem has been historically spoken of By God in the manner that Revelation speaks about the *hore who sits upon the beast. I’m not done learning about this yet, so I’m not gonna pin any titles on Israel or Jerusalem either… I’ve still got So Much to learn!

Ripp, as I read the news piece and the scriptures you provided it seemed surreal....What is really interesting is that the Bible says that "they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast."
Are we supposed to look for 1 that will uproot 3 of those that were named out of the ten now ?

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful." [Revelation 17:12-14]
And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. [Revelation 17:16]
