General question;
Let say that everything out there is truth, ok; and we all are looking for the President to stop. Ok Know what would be your thoughts if we have 2 sept 11 in one year! And for not taking action there is more lost lives than WW2.
Would you steal think (peace)?
When they said (peace) and (security) then the END comes.
Thank You Love in Christ MAC
Job 33:18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
Job 33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
PS 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Ah dear Dunbar; good thoughts, I do appreciate your sentiments,I too am not thrilled with this country going after Iraq at this time, the politics in the whole region are too screwwed up to get entangled with Saddam. When it is proved that Iraq is definately making weapons of mass destruction amd chemical weapons, and supplying them to the other arab terrorists, this country could find itself in a whole new war with our arab 'allies'.

You offended me . I am a patriotic American . You have no need to be patriotic for America , but you should thank God that your country is on Our side .

There have been times when every citizen, of every nation on earth, has felt violently opposed to their own rulers. It didn't give them a justifiable reason to kill or remove them, other than by the prescribed laws of the state. As an Englishman, and in a more objective position because i'm not being throttled by the noose of patriotism, i would ask .. what gives Mr Bush the right to decide on the removal of the leader of another state? When his father was the head of the CIA, 'the streets of the third world ran with blood' ... to quote another head of the CIA. It seems that being a warmongering killer is genetic. Yes, otherwise, like most English people, i stand with America shoulder to shoulder. I hope some of that makes sense and I haven't offended anyone. I don't usually care, but the patriotic thing is a minefield. God Bless.

NewsWatch: What will President Bush do with Iraq?
- Bill Koenig
August 25, 2002
President Bush has been aggressively moving towards an Iraq attack. One reliable intelligence source reports it could even happen as early as October 1. Intense lobbying against such an attack came in from all over the world, even from members of Bush's own political party and from members of his father's administration.
Retired General Norman Schwarzkoph, Commander in Chief of the Central Command in Desert Storm in 1990, suggested President Bush not go after Saddam Hussein and Iraq alone. He said that in Desert Storm virtually the entire world was behind the U.S. plan. Today the U.S. has nobody backing the plan, excluding maybe Britain, and there is division in that nation over what to do with Saddam.
Former National Security Advisor, Brent Scowcroft, under Bush 41, stated that going in after Saddam now would be a mistake. He said it would be more advisable to put greater effort into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Jewish World Review contributing author David Warren stated he believes President G.W. Bush has a plan to democratize the Middle East (please see excerpt below). Yes, respectfully speaking, this is the same president who called Islam a religion of peace. Tell that to the Christian missionaries who are presently being beaten or killed for attempting to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Middle East countries. Tell that to the victims of the wars that Muslims are currently fighting against dozens of other countries around the globe. Tell that to those who read the Qur'án and leave out the parts about how it is the duty of Muslims to kill Jews, Christians, and other "infidels." And, tell that to the revisionist historians who fail to mention that the only period of peaceful coexistence Islam has shared with followers of other religions has been after they conquered the Middle East, North Africa, and much of Europe in holy wars like unto that which, as of September 11, is being waged against the United States.
In the 1991 Desert Storm we had the world behind the efforts. Now we have no one. The Saudis won't allow U.S. planes to use their airfields. Iraq is continuing their extensive weapons of mass destruction buildup (please see article below). The Egyptians may not allow U.S. warships to use the Suez Canal. Jordan is not in favor of a war against Saddam. Iran and Syria won't reign in the Hezbullah or other radical groups. However, one thing these nations can agree on is that the U.S. needs to apply more pressure on
Israel.
What is next?
With world sentiment opposing an intervention in Iraq it seems Bush will be reluctant to do anything major with Iraq unless they provoke him. However, he is still committed to Saddam's removal. The U.S. could also decide at any time to hit Iraq's weapons-of-mass-destruction facilities. The fact there are many U.S. troops on the ground in the Middle East preparing for Iraq adds to the complications of the moment.
In the meantime, life continues to worsen for Jews around the world, with anti Semitism on the rise in Europe, Latin American, and other nations. The situation on the street in Israel is worsening weekly; they have never experienced such trauma. The Iraqis are influencing and assisting the Palestinian militants, the Israelis have ordered the Syrians to reign in the Hezbullah or face the consequences, and Israel has postponed withdrawing their troops from the Palestinian neighborhoods until the end of the Jewish festivals in September.
In the weeks ahead we will continue to watch the words of President Bush pertaining to Israel, as well as the words of the international community, who will all be back in September from their vacations. Will there be additional pressure applied on Israel?
The pressure will likely continue on Israel as the world community continues in their obsession of making the Israelis the culprit of the world's terror problems. Nations around the world are under attack by radical Islam, not from the Israelis. Radical Islam is producing problems throughout the world; can you blame Israel for this? No, it's the enemies of Jews and Christians producing the terror, yet the world community continues to blame Israel for most of the worlds ills. This is absurd! It is also an example of the suspect credibility of the world's leaders.
The good news is that, as Bible-believing Christians, we know the eventual outcome: the God of Israel wins and destroys those who come against the "apple of His eye."
