My husband is recovering well from his injuries (for those who didn't see my last post, he was in a fork lift accident at work) and I have recovered emotionally - except for that every time since the accident if we've gotten irritable with each other I automtically start crying, but that's really not such a bad thing He goes back to work tomorrow and they are letting him be flexible with his schedule. In his absence the general manager of the plant basically had to live there for a few days to make sure things ran okay, I'm hoping that my hubby's absence will make him more appreciated and will also solve a chain of command problem that I believe caused this incident in the first place. I'm very thankful for his company and worker's comp, they have taken care of all of the financial aspects to the point that I haven't even had to pay for a prescription.
To make it an even better week, we decided it was time to sell my old car that I had been driving for almost 7 years. It was my first car from when I was 16, and two other teenagers learned to drive and shared it for a year each, so it had some pretty high miles and had been through a lot. I listed it Wednesday night on a seller's website, got a call an hour later and sold it to the person the next day as a starter car for his own daughter! He wanted to get her something she could bang around for a year So we went car shopping Friday night and I got a new car, now we don't have to worry about me breaking down on the highway between schools since its a lot of commuting this semester to areas that aren't necessarily the safest places. Its been a scary and hectic couple of weeks but God has been very good to us!
