I would like to share my understanding of biblical topics using verse. I do it because it adds a perspective on seeing. 'Seeing' is what the scripture's intent is for the reader. If we see differently we have an opportunity here to discuss and hopefully grow.
Poetry has a way of using language a little differently to regular chat and thus provoke thought particularly for those who put the effort into thinking about what is trying to be communicated. The Psalms are full of it. I have often found in my initial reading that the intended meaning is not apparent. It becomes cause for another look.
I have been told that my poetical input is not biblical and is considered spam.
If one does not understand what is being written, is that justification for labelling it as spam? Would we apply this principle, the term 'spam' ie, to the scripture if we do not understand it?
There of course is the option of making enquiry and in so doing open an avenue to discover perhaps unfamiliar angles, ie blind spots that are outside of ones view. What a great opportunity to get to know the heart of the personalities behind the word.
The Psalms ARE SCRIPTURE! Your "poems" ARE NOT!
Flooding the Bible Topics and Study section with them is SPAM!
This BBS is a Full Bible, Holy Spirit Enlightened Grace board and WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED!

Unfortunately It appears that generating engagement here is thinner than worn out muslin. I had hoped for some enthusiastic and thought provoking discussions on this site not the deletion of my posts without explanation.
