Matthew 18:3 And He said, Truly I say to you, Except you be converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into he kingdom of heaven.
Do little children like you? Are little children instantly drawn to you?
Jesus said we should "become as little children". What do "little children do"?
For one thing, they trust completely in their parents. As little children, we also must rely completely on the Lord Jesus in heaven.
We listen to His instructions and to what He tells us from heaven by way of the Holy Spirit and like little children we do what He says to do.
A little child depends on his parents to do the thinking for him. Likewise we who are saved must also depend on the Resurrected, Living Lord Jesus in heaven, to do our thinking for us now, because we are "born again".
In the realm of divine knowledge, we are to be as little children, depending entirely on what the Lord "instructs us" and "teaches us" and "wherever He guides us".
When we as saved adult adopt the attitude of a "little child" or "utter dependence on the guidance of the Lord Jesus" and "lean not on our own understanding", then we have become as little children are with their human parents, except that now Jesus who knows everything and who knows the future, acts as our Parent.
salm 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; and He leads me beside still waters.
Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Matthew 18:3 And He said, Truly I say to you, Except you be converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into he kingdom of heaven.
