Amen, dying on the cross like that is a horrible way to die; and it's actually horrifying to think that tens of thousands of other people suffered death by that same being nailed to the cross. Some "deserved" it because they had actually done something, others were "eliminated" because they were political competitors or whatever.
It has to be the most horrible feeling to be captured by someone who then actually kills you, against your will.
But anyway, I thank the Lord Jesus for dying for me on the cross; it must have been very painful.

Such a lovely prayer, Eden.
It is amazing how simple our salvation is to attain…
But what a horrible price that was paid for our salvation, which we didn’t deserve.
For yet, while we were still sinners God loved us enough to send his only begotten son to us.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for dying on the cross for me, so that I may receive the free gift of eternal life from You, and so that I may receive a glorified body like You had after You were resurrected, and so that I may rule and reign over the nations with You from Jerusalem.
