What is your purpose? It is to fellowship with God. For that reason you were created. Yes? It is all about purpose, no? So, what is HIS purpose? It is to have fellowship with you. HE loves YOU, and heretofore HE could not fellowship with you for your sin. But that was before Christ. But once Christ has come, the gap, having been bridged, enables you to fellowship with your creator. Tell me it is not so.

But can HE fellowship with you if you love your sin?

And why are you sick. Do you not know that generally, except for the condition of suffering for Christ, your sickness is a void being filled with something that is not fellowship with Christ. In other words, there is a hole and something is going to fill it. And you made the choice what. Then why complain about being sick. You preferred it over fellowship which HE offers!

Your purpose is to have fellowship with God, which is made possible by the blood of Christ. Everything else is secondary to this.

What if Moses didn't fellowship. What if he had claimed to 'know' God, passed on the mountaintop experience, and the burning bush, and started telling Israel what to do. I don't know what would have happened to the Ten Commandments. It would have been hard to hammer them out himself. But then maybe I do. He wouldn't have needed them, for he would have issued his own.

Sound familiar?

Something comes out of fellowship. Otherwise people would just be doing their own thing. And they would be doing it without fellowship with Him. Well, it sounds like a failed proposition to me. But people do not mind failed propositions, evidently. After all, a good social club would be better than fellowship with their maker would it not?
