Thanks CARETAKER.
Do you remember where it said that the rain of the flood was the first rain in place of water coming up from within the earth ?
Don't go lookin it up. If I wanted to know that bad I would do it myself. Thought you might know off hand.

I vote yes too, that God created the earth just to make sons and daughters. Just like, to grow lettuce, a lettuce patch is needed, so God needed a place where He could "grow Himself some sons and daughters".

According to Gen. 2:5 man was created to till the ground. And without John Deere tractors.
Now I have a question. I can't remember where I found it (senior moment) but it seems that there was no rain until the Flood. Before that all the water came from underground.

Did God create the earth, just to create us, or was the earth already there and God decided to use this planet to "grow Himself some sons and daughters"?
