Joh 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
![[Prayer]](graemlins/prayer.gif) When I think of the prosperity teaching.... That the Christian will prosper is acceptable. But based on the above verses it is clear that one is not to 'lust against the spirit'. It is covetiousness! We do not lay up treasure in heaven by coveting material things. Though it is not wrong to have them, it is evil to pursue them, and to preach their pursuit. Moreover, we can see by reading the above letter, that we are already blessed. That is the fruit of the Judeo Christian heritage, paying homage to the fact that God prospers. Yet:
- Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
That this is evident, look at China, and they are not Christian. But, it is to be considered, are we to labor to have all wealth for ourselves to enjoy? If so we enjoy it in this life only. But in Haiti, children illegally scavenge landfills for food. They also live there. It is their way of life; while we can't wait to have a new Hybrid. More than that, it is their very survival. So why should the preacher have to beg for funding to bless such as these, in a country such as this? Is it wrong to feed them? True! It potentially can simply make dependants out of them. But can it be ignored? It is.

Today I want to bring my concern to you. I pray to Abba YaHWeh to give you an open heart.
It took time in prayer to check if it is the right way to present this to each of you. To be patient and before judging to read to the end and pray!
Yahushua says in the book of Mattyityahu: “Give and it shall be given unto you”. It is also written in the book of proverbs: A soul of blessing shall be made fat, and he that watered shall be himself watered
Brethren and sisters. I lived in the Philippines from August 2005 up to October 2007, and hope to return there as soon as possible. My wife is still there. I had to come back to France, because all my finances were gone.
We have been concerned with the catastrophic situation of many people, especially those from the Household of Elohim.
We took three children with us from my sister in law (34 years old) who is a young widow since 6 years; in order to bring them to school, and give them a scriptural way of life. Today after Three years, they are our great joy!
I want to describe a bit the situation for a family there. Most of people are jobless (80%) and the conditions for getting a job are more then hard. The salary is miserable between 2500 and 4000 Pesos per month which is around 56 to 90 USD per month. No man can feed his family from one salary.
The central food for a family is RICE, like we eat bread or hamburgers, Rice is the daily food for each Philippino, morning lunch and dinner. One kilo rice coasted today 30 Pesos ( around 0,67USD)
One family need 20 to 25 kg rice per week or 80 to 100 kg per month, some of them depending on the number of family numbers need more. If you make a simple calculation you will see that the financial pressure is already there. 80 X 30 Pesos: 2800 Pesos
Some family even with a small job, haven’t already enough money to buy rice. We don’t speak from buying fish or meat, mostly chicken.
Children need uniform to go to school (requirement from the government), there is on regular basis fees to be paid for the school.
Travelling has become a burden for the people due to the gasoline price explosion.
Medicine is very expensive. I have been witnessed from a little child who died because the parents didn’t have money to buy medicine.
The list is long. No refrigerator; electricity is not affordable for many. How can you buy clothes for the children? It is obligation to keep the clothes for the next child.
In spite of that, this precious people will open their doors to any one who come and will share their meal with them. It is not unusual to see a woman knocking at your door, asking food for her children.
Brothers and sisters, all of us have been favoured in our western countries. I know we all complain that “life is hard”. I don’t know if Abba YaHWeh will agree with that, compare with our brethren and sisters in Asia?
I will now present my request to you and ask you to open your heart. Myself, I give thanks to Abba YaHWeh everyday for giving me the ability to send money to my wife in order for them to buy food and send the children to school.
I ask each of you to consider helping our brethren and sisters in the Island from Bohol, Philippines. We will not give “cash” to our brethren, we will buy RICE for them and other items needed there (clothes, medicine or anything needed for livelihood) .
We will inform the brethren of your liberality and we will give you a monthly report. My wife is a faithful person. We make promises to you that we will not touch from this money for personal advantage.
I don’t give any bank account or information for payment. If your heart is moved by my plead to you, please contact me and let this be between you and our Elohim, YaHweh Zebaoth. He is the rewarder of each of us.
