So, are you saying that you muddy the water of the well spring?

Michael Harrison said quote: Everyone wants to contribute, but that is not how it works. We 'receive'. It is a good feeling to contribute. Everyone wants to. But it is a work of the flesh.
Personally I'm finding that I am both receiving and giving. To put it another way, I am both teaching and learning (giving and receiving). My teaching or giving is not "necessarily" a work of the flesh, since my teaching is a combination of the Holy Spirit working with me about what to say and write. By the time it is actually comes out of me as a written statement, it may not be entirely "of the Holy Spirit", but is no longer entirely "of the flesh" either. It is now a combination of the two, for out of my treasure now comes "new" and "old".

Everyone wants to contribute, but that is not how it works. We 'receive'. It is a good feeling to contribute. Everyone wants to. But it is a work of the flesh. We receive. We are created to receive. He is pleased for us to receive. He died for it, it was so important to Him. And having received, we share! By this, our 'contribution' is not a work of the flesh but of the Spirit as by the sap flowing in the vine. By this we bear fruit. Amen!
