To believe for salvation is just a part of our Christians growth; most Christians stop there and do not realize that there is more to come.

To know that we are dead and crucified with Christ is the next step and should be as real as the day we believed for salvation.

A dead man cannot do anything, nor can a dead man be asked to do anything.

But thanks be to God, we are also raised with Christ.

Formerly, I was married to the law which was against me and could not be a helper to me. But now I am married to the living Christ who is a Great Help to me.

And I know that soul rule of the body was hopeless and made a mess of most everything. My soul has also been "idled" or "died to me" in that I now know that my spirit man is much more able to operate my soul man and my body, so that my soul man is now "idle" and ideally I make no more decisions with my soul but "wait as the eyes of the servant is to the presence of his master" as I now wait for the spirit man to direct my soul and from there my body.

The soul must only execute what the soul hears the spirit of man say (and the spirit of man in turn heard what the Spirit of God said to the spirit of man).

The spirit of man then conveys that information to the soul and the soul (me, my seat of personality) executes the body with what the spirit said to do.

Then life became more abundant and rich with goodness when the hierarchy of God is followed: the Spirit of God to the spirit of man to the soul to the body.

1 Corinthians 2:10
But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Romans 8:27
And He who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Praise God!

My death date was May 15nth 1999

It's only by reckoning this so that we walk in newness of Life, imo

What FREEDOM comes from knowing the old man is DEAD, gone and buried! We can now walk in newness of Life because we HAVE been made new, MORE than new, we've recieved the very Life of God in Christ Jesus!!!
