Did you know that the name 'Canaan' means, literally, 'trafficker'- one who tries to buy low and sell high?
This is an oppressive occupation- "Jewing down" the producers of goods till they take less for their labor, and, then, jacking up the price beyond what is meet so that the producers can not afford to buy their own product.
quote:
Pr 20:14 It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.
When trying to sell, they who said "It is naught" say "It is the best".
God told Abraham that his seed would inherit the land of Canaan/the merchant. When Babylon is destroyed, no one ever buys the merchandise of the merchant, again.
Did you know that Judah's first three sons were by the daughter of a Canaanite? Of course, the Lord slew the first two, Er and Onan.
Judah's first wife died. Then, he, himself had a child by her which had been his firstborn's wife. Thus, the line of Jesus was spared from being corrupted by the seed of the merchant.

Noah had 3 sons, Shem, Ham, and Japeth. And Noah Ham in turn had 4 sons, Kush, Misr, Phut, and Canaan.

During the dispersion of the one people who were all still with Noah at Babel on the southeast Euphrates river valley, during that dispersion from Babel, Noah-Ham-Misr took the Nile floodplain and took the Nile valley from Memphis to Aswan by the 1st cataract.

And, as I mentioned in another Topic, the English King James Version of the Old Testament always translated the tribal name Misr into the English Egypt, which the English in turn got from the Macedonian Greek Aegyptus.

But in the Old Testament, the word Egypt DOES NOT EXIST. The word Egypt ALWAYS translates the Hebrew word Misr, which is the ancient name of Egypt.

By using "Egypt" instead of "Misr", the KJV obsured an important Noah Ham family relationship.

Ham had 4 sons, Kush, Misr, Phut, and Canaan.

Now, just like Misr, the English KJV also translated every instance of KUSH into Ethiopia or Ethiopians.

Like the English word "Egypt" which always translated the Hebrew word "Misr", so also the English word Ethiopia always translates the Hebrew word "Kush".

Noah Ham Kush possessed the Kush Nile valley south of the 1st cataract as far as Shendi along the 6th cataract in the southeast Kush Nile valley.

So after the dispersion from Babel, Noah-Ham-Misr took the Nile floodplain and took the Nile valley to Aswan by the 1st cataract, and Noah-Ham-Kush took the Nile valley from the 1st Nile cataract to the 6th cataract.

By 1611, Ethiopia claimed the teritory east of the southeast Kush Nile valley, and so the KJV translators ended up translated EVERY INSTANCE of the Hebrew word "Kush" or "Kushites" in the Old Testament as "Ethiopia" or "Ethiopians", and thus the KJV, to the devil's delight, OBSCURED the very important relationship between Noah Ham Misr and Noah Ham Kush.

Noah-Ham-Misr and Noah-Ham-Kush were Hamite full brothers, along with their full brother Noah- Ham-Phut who almost certainly became Phut-Libya, and along with with Noah-Ham-Canaan who after the dispersion took Hamite Lebanon and took Hamite Canaan.

So the devil scored a considerable victory when he got the KJV translators to obscure these very important tribal names of "Misr" into "Egypt" and the name of "Kush" into "Ethiopia".

So Christians, whenever you read the KJV, when you see the word "Egypt" in the KJV, you should know that it always is the word "Misr" in Hebrew.

And Christians, whenever you read the KJV, when you see the word "Ethiopia" in the KJV, you should know that it always is the word "Kush" in Hebrew, and use those correct Hebrew words instead when you read "Egypt" or "Ethiopia".

The LORD meant for us to understand these tribal relationships, who all possessed adjacent properties: the Kush Nile valley, the Misr Nile valley and Misr Nile floodplain, Phut-Libya and Hamite Canaan and Hamite Lebanon.

When you read the KJV, always change "Egypt" to "Misr" and always change "Ethiopia" to "Kush". You'll be happy you did.

with love, eden
