James and John agree. The Word is something you do, and the Truth is something you do. And we all know that Jesus is the Truth and the Word.
There's a good start for a revolution without carnal weapons.

Besides HAVING something, namely the Holy Spirit of God which now dwells inside of a new believer, but once the believer is in the family of God, the believer is also expected to behave him or herself as a newly adopted son and daughter of God thru Jesus.
And to become such a nice member of the family of God, we have to DO SOMETHING, and that something is read and study the Word of God. So it is HAVING by what Jesus did on the cross for us and it is DOING when we take the time FROM OUR BUSY WORDLY SCHEDULE to read more Word of God.
And that written Word of God enlivens the Spirit of God inside of us, that written Word of God the Spirit of God inside of us can work with.[/b]Both are needed: having, and doing.
everyone is blessed who helps in the vineyard of the LORD. The LORD pays very good wages or "rewards". Have and Do.
