Dear Eden,
To be plain about intimate things requires taking such a risk. You made that risk-taking sooo worth while.
God bless you, friend.
Sincerely,
Bryan

Yes, Scythewieldor, not like Lucifer-Satan's Dancing with the Stars, but you are Dancing with the morning Stars:

Job 38:7
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Revelation 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Revelation 2:28
And I will give him the morning star.

Luke 7:32
They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, but you have not danced; we have mourned to you, but you have not wept.

2 Samuel 6:14
And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

with love, eden

Dear Eden,
One of the things that draws me into prayer so often is a heart sense (imagine this) of dancing with the Father. I feel Him smile on my heart when I praise Him.
When I intercede for someone rather than take a grudge, I seem to here Him say, "That pleases me well."
I no longer think of Him as an austere man. His sweet lovingkindness makes keeping the word of Jesus so much easier.

Do we put our arms around our heavenly Father or is our relationship more the relatinship betwen Queen Esther and King Ahasuerus?

Esther 4:11
All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king in the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.

Esther 5:2
And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

On the other hand, the Lord Jesus of Bethlehem/Nazareth often said that I have a Father in heaven:

Matthew 5:45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 6:1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:8
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matthew 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 7:11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Matthew 10:20
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

Matthew 10:29
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

The Bible also says that "we come boldly to the throne of grace":

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

So do we stand or sit at times with our arms around our Father or do mature sons and daughters of the Father only have their arms around their Father at times, but at other times touch the top of His golden sceptre.

Do grown sons and daughters of God only touch the top of His golden sceptre, or a little bit of both?

And, what about His Son Jesus, what does He do with the Father? Jesus doesn't always stifly sit on the throne to the right of the Father, right? They must be hugging each other a lot for the victory won.

love, eden
