Eden said quote: Dear Barrykind, I'd like to ask you a question. You mostly post articles of other Christians and I was wondering why you do not write your OWN Topics instead?
Is there a time-constraint reason for it, or...? Surely the Holy Spirit has shown you lots of stuff about the LORD.
So why do you mostly post OTHER people's writing? I've wondered about that.
You can look back ive posted many things , im very opinionated, and trying to learn to listen... :0)

Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
My Lord, my Savoir. Oh that they could see, that they abide not in Thee, but abide in themselves until Jacob's wounding of the knee!

Hi, Barrykind and Chip Brogden. He said:
"May I emphatically state that God already poured out everything He has when He gave His Son to us to be our Life! If we are still waiting for God to "move" then I have to believe we do not fully appreciate that God's greatest move was revealing His Son in us. How can we keep looking for anything else when we have everything in Him already?"
Eden here:
Yes, but each new Christian must learn what God has already done for us and appropriate it. The knowledge of what we have and are in Christ is acquired over time and doesn't just appear on a Monday.
So when Chip days, "How can we keep looking for anything else when we have everything in Him already?", I was wondering what Chip think we were looking at?

Hi Barrykind, I do believe that there is a distinct difference between one who is seeking some feeling in thier emotion(like seeking a sign of Gods existence), and one who is earnestly expecting the Holy Spirit to help accomplish the will of God. If we earnestly expect the Holy Spirits guidance then we trust in the One who says that He sends it in His name. The former scenario could borderline tempting God, but the latter is showing a dependence on God for His source of strength to help us fight the good fight.
With love in Christ, Daniel

Today's meditation is taken from: THE LAW OF LIFE By Chip Brogden
http://www.theschoolofchrist.org/articles/law.html
"In every thing you are enriched by Him" (I Corinthians 1:5).
We must differentiate between seeking Christ and seeking some feeling in our emotion in the name of an "outpouring" or "move" of God. May I emphatically state that God already poured out everything He has when He gave His Son to us to be our Life! If we are still waiting for God to "move" then I have to believe we do not fully appreciate that God's greatest move was revealing His Son in us. How can we keep looking for anything else when we have everything in Him already?
