You do have to go out and get a job. I don't know of anyone that had a job come to their house and get them. But, the best thing you can do is pray each morning before you go out and put in your applications, that God will help you to get the job, He wants you to have.
Years ago, my husband I was seperated and I had two kids to support. God helped me find a job and on that job I was able to share Jesus with others.
God has a job for you. Don't give up. Pray and start putting in your applications.

Well, J4Jesus, whether they are a gift from God or a gift from yourself, depends on you. Who are you listening to? Yourself?
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.
Hosea 13:2
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, ALL OF IT THE WORK OF CRAFTSMEN, that they say of them, Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.
Brother, if you still think that you are smarter than the Holy Spirit, then it will be YOU who finds this “gift of a friend” and “this gift of a job”. But watch out for what you find by yourself.
But if you have found that the Holy Spirit is much smarter than you, then you will shut up and start listening to which way the Holy Spirit says you should go. Then you can truthfully say, “God has found me friends” and “God has found me a job.”

Eden here: Yes, I believe that.

Eden here: Yes, I believe that, but it is only your job to preach and teach him and/or the church’s pastor or priest (whatever) to preach or teach to him, but whether God decides to choose your father is not your choice or jurisdiction.

Eden here: Yes, but try praying for your father and the rest of your family, that God will choose them also, for what skin is it off our Father’s back to save them also, and to include them also in the death of Jesus? God is just waiting for some prayer to include them also (and I’m preaching to the choir here too).

A man who has friends must show himself to be friendly; there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Eden here: Show yourself to be a friendly and helpful person and you WILL have friends.

If you are NOT reading His Word and are STILL leaning on your own understanding and are STILL NOT asking the Holy Spirit to do your thinking FOR YOU, then God is not a good God for you, because you are NOT listening to Him. So how can He be a good God to you when you are ignoring the means by which You can get to know Him, namely reading or hearing on tape the Bible, and praying to Him Whom you are getting to know then and learning what is the Holy Spirit and what is your mind? You are not hearing from God because you are not doing what you need to do to hear from Him.

Get the friends and job with the help of the LORD by the means I described above and you can have success at it. God blesses you when He sees you starting to really want to get to know Him. Because right now you just:
Isaiah 29:12-14 (in Context) Isaiah 29 (Whole Chapter) Matthew 15:8
This people draws near Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.
Be blessed and obey, and get help from the Holy Spirit for your life. You got the time.

because I'm getting ready for a HUGE change and loving the potential i have here.

Right now I'm looking for a job so I can move out.
I've been telling my dad "get ready..."
Somebody is about to get disappointed and it serves them well.
I have NO friends, NO job, and I don't have the confidence to really "GO GET THEM."
So I've been "PRAYING" to "GOD" for Him to provide...but He is not a good "God." I pray in Faith and get NO help.
Well now my hand has been forced to GO GET THEM MYSELF.
Whatever happens, happens. I'd rather be a bum than live like this in this house.
please pray. this has been going on at least 5 years now.
