Eden, God promised to bring Israel back to their land after 2000 years of exile which started in 70AD after the temple was destroyed and Israel was scattered and dispersed.
God promised to be bring them back even in their unbelief. He did this is 1948. A nation was born in a day. This was a fulfillment of prophecy.
Many Jewish people have been coming to know Christ as their savior, more in the last 20 years than the last 2000 years. But this is on an individual level. Not a National level.
The Nation of Israel will one day, as a collective people, call upon the Name of Jesus and will be saved. Jesus said-
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate" (prophecy of the destroying of the temple in 70AD)
"For I say to you, You will not see Me again UNTIL YOU SAY 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Notice that Jesus did NOT say they will See Him and THEN say blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
Jesus said that those in Jerusalem Will See Him when THEY SAY blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.
So something will occur in the future that will turn Israel as a Nation/Collective people to call upon the Name of Jesus. And then He sahll return.
This future revival of faith among the Jewish people is called "their fullness", their acceptance, and their being grafted into their own olive tree Romans 11:12
Israels rejection is only temporary until all those who are going to be saved from among the Nations (Gentiles) come to trust in Christ.
When Paul says in verse 26 And so ALL Israel will be saved" he does not mean every Jewish person who has ever lived.
This term must be understood in the same sense as "the fullness of the Gentiles (Nations)"
There will be, in the future, a mighty turning point on the part of National Israel to Christ.
Ezekiel 37 speaks of God gathering the Tribes of Israel, the Jewish people, who were dead dry bones, no homeland, wandering Jews, and bringing them back to their land after 2000 years of dispersion.
Now they are in the land, the very place where Jesus will rule and reign from (Jerusalem) for 1000 years upon His return to set up His kingdom.

The church is New Israel, which is composed of Gentiles believers and Israelite believers:
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree.
We partake and are grafted into the fat olive tree which is Israel.
But, there is also still Old Israel, which is composed of the 13 tribes of Israel who died over time but which are predicted to come up out of their graves:
Ezekiel 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
It has been said that at that time, these 13 tribes of Old Israel will merge with the church of New Israel and then the two Israels will become the One Israel of God.
But is it really true that eternal life will be granted even to those of Israel who did not believe in His Son Jesus?
How can eternal life be given even to them, after NOT believing? I don't understand that...
Be blessed, Eden
