The other day I heard a pastor say that the LORD YHWH also was eagerly awaiting the redemption to be provided by the Lord Jesus in due time. The love of a Father yearned to express Himself to and with the creation, but could not, because of sin, though He loved them and yearned for them and looked at them every day eventhough they were sinners.
It is often thought by us Christians that we Christians gained the most in this transaction with God, but God also longed and longed for the refreshing to come in which He was allowed to communicate intimately again with His creatures, by their sins being forgiven and having access again to the Holy Spirit, the Wireless God, which was restored to them who believe in God and the work of Jesus.
But God also greatly longed for this redemption, and the parable in the Bible expresses the feelings that God had:
Luke 15
20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off his father saw him, and had compassion and ran, and fell on his neck and kissed him.
For all these years, God also had an enormous longing for His creatures, and after Jesus had accomplished the work on the cross, God burst forth, He ran to intimately meet His creatures again who had believed in Him and who now had access to the Holy Spirit again.
With love, Eden
