How long must we live O’ Lord in this world that raves and screams?
How long must we wait O’ Lord for the return of he who redeems?
Apostasy within the hearts of lost children turns the innocent astray.
Their lying hearts and serpent whispers corrupt every new day.
I see upon the horizon a new dawn bringing hope,
But so far away it sometimes seems until the light shall touch upon me.
How much sin must I see, even now my heart hardly copes?
Within my soul I give you my trust; I am not blind but now see.

With you I rise,
In you I sleep,
kneeling down I kiss your feet,
Grace abounds upon me now,
I once was lost
but now I'm found.
The gift of God dwells within,
To this love I now give in.
