Jesus was a very humble man, but humility doesn't necessarily mean destitution in the material sense.

A classic scripture that many use to make us believe he was homeless is Luke 9:57,58, which says that "foxes have dens and birds have nests, but Jesus had no place to lay his head," BUT if you read the full scripture you realize that he wasn't accepted in "that town," and so it means that in "that town" he didn't have accommodation, so they had to go onto the next town.

Also, Matthew 13: 1 Later that same day, Jesus left "the house" Verse 36. Then leaving the crowds outside, Jesus went into "the house." It shows he probably lived there.

Mark 2;2 (This was in Capernaum)
"Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there wasn't room for one more person." This is the story of the man being lowered down through the roof. That must have been Jesus' house, because earlier in Chapter 1 it states that he lived in Capernaum and every Sabbath he went into the synogogue. It also says that he went to other villages and then came back, so he must of been based in Capernaum, with accommodation there.

According to John 4;8 the disciples went into the village to buy food, so apparently they had money. Jesus must of had enough money to be able to appoint Judas as the treasurer. Judas often dipped into the funds for his own use, so there would have been money left over. John 12:6

When Jesus was a baby, the Magi presented him with rich treasures. It doesn't say that his family refused these gifts.

Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

Before Jesus was crucified he wore a seamless garment, plus other layers. A piece of cloth that was cut losts its value, so it must have been worth something. The fact that the soldiers felt it was profitable to share in dividing his clothing, shows that they were valuable.

John 19:23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.
24"Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it."
This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said, "They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing." So this is what the soldiers did.

The Pharisees tell us what not to do. Jesus tells us what to do.
Romans 10:15 As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
