Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
If you are a child of Yahweh, your fruit will be singular, what comes out of the child of Yahweh as the tree matures will look more and more like Yeshua.
That is the one and only desire of Yahweh’s heart that His children all act exactly like Yeshua/Jesus.
The fruit produced is obedience to the Father’s Will in all things.

Hi, becauseHElives. You said:
Fruit is that which come forth by the very nature of the tree itself.
Fruit is the product of Salvation through the Blood of Yeshua, a “new heart”
Works is that which is produced by strenuous backbreaking exhausting effort
Works is the product of religion, mans efforts to please God.
Eden here:
If works are the product of religion, man’s efforts to please God, are you then saying that there are NO WORKS for man to do, other than the one work that I know of that Jesus mentioned, that we must “believe Him (Jesus) whom He (God) has sent.”
John 6 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him {Jesus} whom He {God} has sent.
30 They said therefore to him, What sign can you show us then, that we may see, and believe you? What do you work?
So there appears to be ONLY ONE WORK which non-Christians need to do to become Christians, and that is to believe that Jesus was and is the Messiah and is the Son of the Living God spoken of in Psalm 2.
So are you saying, becauseHElives, that THERE ARE OTHER WORKS we must do, or not?
Only ONE work, or MANY works?
Be blessed.

Good... Very good. That sums it all up in about four sentences.

An idea about fruits and works.
***
Someone can just have good fruit but bad works…or bad fruit but good works.
And like Jesus said: ST. MATTHEW 7:19 EVERY TREE THAT BRINGETH NOT FORTH GOOD FRUIT IS HEWN DOWN, AND CAST INTO THE FIRE.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Good fruit is just good; they are qualities of a person that are line with the word of God.
GALATIANS 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
++++++++++++++++++++++++++ …But works can be either good or bad, they can have either the right or wrong motive.
Works with the wrong motive glorify you… bad works are burned in the fire.
1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
++++++++++++
…And works with the right motive glorify God the Father…good works endure the fire, and are rewarded.
ST. MATTHEW 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
1 Corinthians 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
So good works do not save us. But we all must bare good fruit.
ST. MATTHEW 7:19 EVERY TREE THAT BRINGETH NOT FORTH GOOD FRUIT IS HEWN DOWN, AND CAST INTO THE FIRE.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Good fruit and good works do not go hand in hand all the time…It is different in some cases: Someone can just have good fruit but bad works…but still is saved. Someone can just have bad fruit but good works...and is lost.
ST. MATTHEW 7:18-20 A GOOD TREE CANNOT BRING FORTH EVIL FRUIT, NEITHER CAN A CORRUPT TREE BRING FORTH GOOD FRUIT. EVERY TREE THAT BRINGETH NOT FORTH GOOD FRUIT IS HEWN DOWN, AND CAST INTO THE FIRE WHEREFORE BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM.
ST. MATTHEW 7:21-23-NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. It is written, MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED "IN THY NAME"? AND "IN THY NAME" HAVE CAST OUT DEVILS? AND "IN THY NAME" DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? AND THEN WILL I PROFESS UNTO THEM, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.
Good fruit is just good; they are qualities of a person that are line with the word of God.
GALATIANS 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Faith in Christ is shown by works… the works must have the right motive.
JAMES 2:17 Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone.
JAMES 2:19-20 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Yes, Itty-Bitty Girl, I corrected it on the other thread. You did NOT say that "you hated dudes who" but you said that "if I was a dude who confused works and fruits, then you hate what I do", that's more correct.
My apologies for having that wrong. You love the dude but you hated what the dude does. Okay. Got it.
Now, tell me and the CBBS, what are works and what are fruits. I'd like to learn something new.
Be blessed.

Itty-Bitty Girl said she hated dudes who confused works and fruits.
I was wondering what the difference was between works and fruits.
Be blessed, everyone. I appreciate learning from you what the Holy Spirit says.
