Prayer, Praise & Worship = Power

Prayer...
Jesus gives us the model of prayer in Matthew 6:5-15.
Matthew 7:11 entails God the Father- His person, His preeminence and his purpose:

"Hallowed (to sanctify, set apart, make special) be thy name, thy kingdom come" (Nothing takes precedence over His coming)

"Thy will be done" (In our lives and in the world, Romans 12:1-2)

Next it speaks about our need of His provision, pardon and protection: "Give us this day our daily bread", (In other words, "Give us today bread enough for tomorrow." Matthew 6:31-32)
Prayer, Praise & Worship = Power

Forgive us our debts (sins), as we forgive our debtors (those who sin against us, Ephesians 4:31-32)

"And lead us not into temptation..." (In other words, "Keep me away from temptation!”) *James 1:13*

In Luke 11, after Jesus had spent some time praying, one of his disciples asked him, "Lord teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples." In this passage we read that John's curriculum in training his disciples focused on teaching them how to pray.

A LIFE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!!!

Praise...

What can I give back to God for the blessings He's poured out on me? Psalms 116:12

PRAISE! PRAISE! PRAISE!

Let all the people praise Him! Psalms 67:3

WHY?

"For He is worthy of our praises!" Hebrews 13:15-16

WHY?

Because He has brought us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9-10

Worship...
Those who believe in God's word give worship that is full of thanksgiving. 1st Thessalonians 5:18, states, "For all things give thanks to God because this is what God expects you to do in Christ Jesus."

The righteous offer worship of thanksgiving for the salvation they received from God. Spiritual Worship can be offered when the soul humbles itself before God. But sinners cannot offer worship since they try to worship God without serving him. (John 4:24) He must be worshipped with heart. He must receive spiritual worship.

Psalms 95:6-8, "Today if you hear his voice and harden not your heart!" Give immediate attention to God's voice. God requires instantaneous obedience. It should become 2nd nature to us.

1st Chronicles 16:29...Holiness is the beauty of the Lord, the beauty of all sanctified souls.

Satan is trying to shut the people of God up but we cannot be silent. Remember the blind man at Jericho in Luke 18:35-43. Mark says his name was Bartimaeus.

Psalm 100, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands." Make a glad shout such as loyal subjects given when their king appears among them. No one is excluded.

Isaiah 58:1, "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet..." The only way we can cry aloud is when we are in right standing with God. As David said, "Then we can teach sinners and transgressors God's way." We are not to spare or compromise with sin.

In my conclusion, Jesus modeled prayer in Matthew 6:5-15 includes all three components prayer, praise and worship which equals power. Many try to get things done in the natural or in flesh but the only way that we can be successful is to get everything we need in the spirit or spirit realm.

Always remember: Prayer, Praise and Worship Equals Power
