Hi, EL3NL3TN. You said:

This is kind of hard to follow - "those who believed in Jesus before Jesus came." - this is a loose reference to the Judaic "pangs for the messiah" (hevlai ha mashiach)?????? I'm not sure there's any evidence of persons awaiting or knowing of "Jesus" (by name) prior to let's say around 25 - 100 a.d. or so...

Eden here:

Jesus said that Abraham saw Jesus’s day and was glad for it:

John 8:56 (NKJV)
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.

John 8:57
Then the Jews said to him {Jesus}, You are not yet 50 years old, and have you seen Abraham?

John 8:58
Most assuredly I say to you, Before Abraham was, I am.

The saints of old looked forward to the coming of the Messiah and believed in Him already from back then, and we look backward to the coming of the Messiah in 70 A.D. and we also look forward to the Second Coming of Jesus as King of Israel, and we believe in Him already BEFORE HE has come, JUST LIKE ABRAHAM DID.

For you said, Hi, EL3NL3TN:

Be blessed.

This is kind of interesting since it seems to run into some literal-versus-figurative problems maybe. [Confused]
quote:
Jesus in the parable of the sower also said that there were 4 kinds of sower/believers, and only the 4th kind of sower/believer ends up saved, or one-fourth or 25% of the current population.

The current population is aobut 6 billion so 25% or one-fourth = 1.5 billion people would be saved unto eternal life.

Can a reliable statistic, or constant ("25%") be extracted from a parable?? [Eek!]

quote:
And that does not include the one-fourth or 25% of the populations which have already died since Jesus's first century, and those who believed in Jesus before Jesus came.

...and the assumption would have to be made that throughout history, a sizeable number of these "born again bodies" are already in existence...or what exactly is meant by this?

As far as the internal plasma screens [Eek!] ....yikes! - I don't think I'll go there... [Big Grin]

Hi, J4Jesus. You said something like, "how many people will be saved in the end"?

Eden here:

The Bible says, "Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many there be who walk thereon" and also "narrow is the road that leads to eternal life and few there be that walk thereon."

And that does not include the one-fourth or 25% of the populations which have already died since Jesus's first century, and those who believed in Jesus before Jesus came.

But so, if you think that 1 Million is awesome, try contemplating 1 Billion+plus bornagain Christians assembling in their bornagain bodies, craning to see Jesus, or seeing Jesus on an internal plasma screen.

Love ya, man.

You're referring to future projected birth rates?

"born again by the end of all things" not sure what you mean by that. [Confused]

man, do we have like an Estimate to how many people will be Born Again by the End of All Things?

I just have these kinds of thoughts. I know God is perfect and that It doesn't matter how many People there are. At least a Million? That's alot man.

Somehow there will be The Wedding Supper of The Lamb and EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM get a Seat.

What an Awesome scene.
