patience is indeed very valuable in things, cbou4668:

Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Ecclesiastes 7:8
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

Romans 2:7
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

1 Thessalonians 5:14
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

2 Thessalonians 3:5
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Hebrews 10:36
For you have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

James 5:7
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

with love,
Eden

Message to the Church in Thyatira. Is the word thyroid derived from this? My understanding of the message is that it is a topic/Spirit of God representative of Patience. Virginity, in the name of Jesus Christ appears to be noted as being the ultimate example of Patience. Patience is greatly tested with the desire for sex. Kids are tested daily in their early years. If sex education was approached with the emphasis on Patience, for the building in character, rather than abstinence, perhaps it might allow time to think out the consequences. Only a thought. Patience is valuable in everything in life. More Patience, knowing that it is best for desired results.
