Very nicely put!!
I have been through many situations involving money and the lack of, over the years. However God has always supplied my needs and then some, many times at the last moment.
To me, the last moment answers are used by God to show us that He has been in control of things all along. He has never let me down, nor do I think He can.
Yeshua told me my signature below when I was being tested in this area a few months ago and His words helped me through.
Everything I have is because of Him!!

In today’s day and age it is very stressful to live due to concerns over money and material possessions. People struggle just to put gas into their vehicle so they can get to work. The verse above, I believe, is one of the most beautiful and reassuring verses in the whole bible. I will be speaking in this letter about how our faith in God can allow us to live a very happy & full life within the Glory and Power that is our God in heaven. I believe that God is leading me to write this letter and post it here first because someone on this board has been praying for financial relief.
I think that many Christians today forget that they are not alone in their struggle to pay bills, get food, and to provide for their families. Luckily we have a very wonderful God in heaven that wants to provide to us all of our needs. The book of John gives tremendous insight to the ever present, ever loving grace and giving of God:
But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give [it] thee. –John 11:22
I was once listening to an evangelist speaker who said “yesterday a man gave me a Rolex Watch. I don’t want the watch, although it is very expensive… isn’t it funny how when we no longer desire or search for things of the material world that we get them like it is not a problem?”
That statement is so very true. I have often found that when I am not searching for money that I will always have an abundance of it; and when I AM searching for money I can never seem to find any. For example: once I was in need of money so I could have gas to get back and fourth to work. Instead of worrying about it and throwing a fit, I just sat back and relaxed because I knew that God would provide and take care of me. That night my mother offered me some money and she would not accept me saying no as an answer. Now keep in mind that I had not told my mother of any of my financial problems, and she offered me money out of the clear blue. I felt in my heart that this was Gods work.
Isn’t it funny how God does things for us? It is awesome to me that God works in such mysterious ways. That night he worked through my mother. But he has also worked in many other ways in my life, and I imagine yours to.
Now lets cover a different scenario. What if I would have threw a fit and started selling things that I owned to pawn shops to get money to get gas. Would God have provided for me then? I think not…
Now why wouldn’t he have provided for me? I think that he would not have helped me because I started placing faith in MY works to deliver me through my hardships, and not placing my FAITH in God to get me through. Thus taking away from his glory and adding to my own.
Now you might be saying that your job provides for you and your hard work that you do at your job is what gets you by and not God. This thought process will leave you worse off in the end that you were I the beginning. Did you not know that all good things are given from above?
Think about that. All good things in your life are gifts from heaven and should not be taken for granted because the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Love the gifts that God has given to you, and give him the glory for it because tomorrow it might not be there.
Now if your Job were to be taken away who would you rely on to provide for you then if not God? Do you see my point? Only God can give you the things that you want and need. Only by him and his will is power given to you, and by the same that gave you power can he also take it away.
And some of you may very well put your full faith in God and still not be able to make ends meet. This is a good thing. Take a look at Job in the bible. God took everything away from Job, but yet he still kept his faith in God. In the end God provided Job with double of everything that he had to begin with because of Job’s faith in him.
In closing I would like to reinforce this thought: God is with you. God loves you. And God will provide for you. Put your faith on him and keep your hands raised and lift your eyes and hearts upward to heaven. Smile. And know that God is with you. Amen.
