In the True Worshipper Topic, wparr wrote the following, which I made into a separate Topic so that I don't divert wparr's own Topic of True Worshipper.

wparr wrote
quote:
Mormons are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

JWs are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

Buddhists are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

Pagans are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

I agree that the Mormons and Buddhists and Pagans are not bornagain Christians and are lost.

Are Yehovah’s Witnesses bornagain Christians? What is required to be a Christian?

On to another part of wparr’s quote above, he wrote of all 4 groups that they but they are in error – lost – going to hell.. Are they not going into the lake of fire? “And it shall come to pass that whosoever’s name was not found in the book of life shall be thrown into the lake of fire.”

Of the 3 hells in the KJV, I know that the Gehenna “hell” is the one which represents the lake of fire the most.

ge-henna is the Greek version of the Hebrew ge Hinnom, which was the valley of Hinnom along the south side of Jerusalem which was Jerusalem’s garbage dump. In this ge Hinnom were thrown dead animal carcasses and refuse and maggots and to avoid plagues and fevers rising up from the refuse, sulfur was constantly thrown on the valley of Hinnom to keep the fire going and keep it burning hot so that all the refuse was burned to ashes.

The Lord Jeshua referred often to Gehenna, which the KJV translated hell, but the KJV should have made a better distinction between the 3 Greek words which were all translated “hell” by the KJV, namely, tartaros, which is the holding place of the angels who sinned; and hades, which tends to mean the grave or the holding place of the dead, but which the KJV also translated “hell”; and gehenna, which represents the fire burning perpetually in the valley of Hinnom or the refuse heap.

So when wparr wrote
quote:
Mormons are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

JWs are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

Buddhists are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

Pagans are sincere, but they are in error – lost – going to hell.

While wparr’s theme in his Topic is not “hell”, I do think we need to be fair to the reader and state which HELL we mean, when we say, “lost – going to hell.”

In the New Testament, the Lord said that unbelievers will primarily go to the gehenna hell, by which the Lord meant that the unbelievers will as it were, be burned up on the refuse heap of the valley of Hinnom.”

That is, the unbelievers, whosoever’s namem was not found int eh book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.

Does Gehenna and the lake of fire refer to the same thing?

Revelation 20:14
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.

Revelation 20:15
If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Is that the Gehenna refuse fire?

Zechariah 14:12 (King James Version)
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will strikes all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand on their feet and their eyes shall consume away in their holes and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth."

does gehenna=the lake of fire? Many Christians think that the fire on the earth will be a manmade nuclear fire, but I think it will not be a manmade nuclear fire, but a fire kindled by the LORD, like this heavenly fire kindled by the angel of the LORD who visited Gideon:

Judges 6:21
Then the angel of the LORD touched the meat and bread with the staff in his hand, and fire flamed up from the rock and consumed all he had brought. And the angel of the LORD disappeared.

May the LORD God of Israel bless us all; may all of our names be written in the Lamb's book of life.

BORN AGAIN by the [Cross] of Lord {kurios} God {theos} Jeshua-Jesus
