THE POWERS THAT BE ARE NOT TELLING YOU TO DO WRONG BY INSISTING YOU COMPLY WITH THEIR RULES OF ORDER IN SUCH A SETTING!

We are not talking about what you or I do -but others. Are you saying it is correct to go against the laws of the land to force others to comply with your religious views? True -this land is even a birthright nation -a blessing from God...but... You said "we should not let" -do you think you will stop them? If they refuse to hear you, what is your next step? If these people refuse, how will you force them to obey God? Shall we have an inquisition? Once we stop them from worshipping whom we insist they worship in public, do we then go into their homes? You are not locked up or dead right now because the laws of this land allow freedom of religion. They are not perfect laws -but neither are we to judge others. We ARE bound even to disobey in an orderly manner IF IT IS A MATTER OF OUR NOT SINNING. These people were not told to sin, but went out of their way to change the actions of others. Daniel refused to SIN and disobeyed orders to SIN -and even when he did he said....Dan 6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. Dan 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Daniel did not burst into the king's court and interrupt people of his own decision -if he did he probably would have been dealt with severely -with no help from God. Daniel went about seeking his own salvation until God told him to speak or a situation arose where he had to make a decision between God and man -otherwise he was a valued -even beloved -member of the court of BABYLON! He even stood up to help those who believed in other gods when they were to be slain for not telling the king his dream! By his wise and orderly actions God used him to eventually cause this king to GIVE GLORY TO GOD.
When people purposefully interrupt you when you are trying to speak, do you feel like listening to what is obviously a perfectly good point -or would it be more likely you'd be tempted to want to smack them up aside the head? I'm not saying their point was invalid -just that their outburst was inordinate and their ways were ineffective.

I am not bringing other Gods in -they are. I'm not saying it is wrong to voice concerns or to cause change in an acceptable manner - but they will do what they will do. God has sent many prophets to many places to warn them to leave false Gods -or face destruction and captivity -but he has never told anyone to force another to comply -to interrupt their meetings -or any such behavior. You can not prevent what will be by forcing them or interrupting them, and such childish behavior hardly pleases God or is in any way befitting a representative of his kingdom.

Cry aloud where it is acceptable if you must, but if there are rules -we should follow them or rightly get the boot. This is not sin.

(As for the mark.... many already have it and do not know it. God's commandments -including his sabbaths -are between the eyes and on the hand -and those who keep those things men have altered already have the mark in their forehead and hand.
The SECOND beast -a religious power- causeth -not forceth! To keep God's sabbath when man changed it (council of laodicea) led to being cast out of society -not buying and selling -and being forced to comply or die. It will be so again, but she has been drunk with the blood of the saints for quite some time now.)

WE ARE NOT KING SOLOMON -LET US SEE TO WHAT WE DO RULE. Speak if God sends you -and leave the rest to God. If we have anything to say to those to whom GOD HAS GRANTED AUTHORITY -we should do so in an orderly fashion
-or we sin against God!

You're preaching to the choir if you're trying to say we will fall if we do not turn to obey God. We are responsible to sound the trumpet, so to speak, if we see destruction looming -or be held responsible -but there are right ways and wrong ways -effective ways and ineffective ways. If we want to cause change rather than just be right -order is in order.

Not when they tell you to do wrong. Daniel did not do what he was told because it was wrong.

Never do what God tells you not to do. God is the supreme authority and ALL will answer to Him on judgement day.

This was not just some hindu guy. He was praying to another god to the USA Senate. The only reason the USA has been bless is because we are suppost to be a Christian nation.

NO the people did right. We should not let people address other gods in the USA Senate now, or ever.

That was the down fall of King Solomon.

"Tolerance is a virtue of a man without convictions" - G.K. Chesterton

God has never ever said it is OK to put other gods before Him. Never!

"You shall have no other gods before me” Exodus 20:2-3

What is wrong with the USA is everyone is afraid to offend someone. Well Jesus said:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - John 14:6

It is not OK to bring other gods in, when you do you are asking for trouble and it looks like the USA is going to get it if we don't repent.

True that -and there will be plenty of persecution without going and looking for it.

Mar 13:9 "As for yourselves, be on your guard! People will hand you over to local councils, and you will be beaten in their synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings to testify to them because of me.
Mar 13:10 But first, the gospel must be proclaimed to all nations.
Mar 13:11 "When they take you away and hand you over for trial, don't worry ahead of time about what you will say. Instead, say whatever is given to you in that hour, for it won't be you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

Until then we should be removing the beam from our own eye.

I'm not saying it is wrong to be expressive, or to give answer, but there are right ways and wrong ways even to speak the truth.

Are we not scripturally bound to be so subject to the authorities? Would it not have been more acceptable -even to God -and would there not be more of a chance of being heard and taken seriously -if one expressed their sincere concern for these peoples' eternal well-being in an orderly manner? I'm sure the hindu guy knew people disagreed with him and interrupting would not help him see any light -but rather would probably cause him to view those as belligerent and rude -and make him less likely to listen in the future -and rightfully so. We should respect people even though they may not know the truth -and we'd better be making sure we know the truth.

Brother Isaiah, and all:

"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also." (Joh 15:20)

I believe there is a difference between not denying God and his Son, and trying to force others to do even what is right or disrupting their proceedings. Christ overturned the moneychangers' tables in the temple -but it was his Father's house. These people did not ask anyone to deny God, nor did they storm into your house with radical hinduism and interupt your prayers -and I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it. You don't have to receive them into your house, but you don't have to chase people around and tell them how wrong they are, either. We are not called to civil disobedience. If they have a point to make in that setting they are scripturally bound to be subject to the powers-that-be except in extreme circumstances -which this was not -and should have abided by the rules of order. I'm not saying their point was invalid, and I do admire their zeal, but they were, quite literally, out of order. If they make a valid point in an acceptable manner and are ignored, God will deal with those people. Hopefully this does not become popular and give rise to frequent and widespread prayer interruptions in churches who are not in agreement with each other or what-have-you -it accomplishes nothing -It certainly does not make the knowledge acceptable.

Tit 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Rom 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
Rom 13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Even though you think you are aware and prepared, amazing stuff comes up. I have been a supporter of Voice of the Martyrs for many, many years. I was surprised to see them named in this video. It is bizzare to lable them as has been done in this video. Like David said, we don't go around shooting people, or blowing them up. We do not terrorize. We preach Christ. We give the invitation. We do not force the message on anyone. We press to give the message. We do not, as Muslims do, give them the supposed 'choice', wherein one denounces their religion, or die! We only speak the truth in love. It amazes one how bankrupt the dying world can be.

I might add that i didn't approve of some of the language that the Christians were using so loosely. It is not "Holy War." If thinking of it as based in the heavenlies, perhaps so, but in worldly terms of preaching Christ, not so. There are no hand grenades in use. Bibles do not qualify as such. You would think that these propagandist would acknowledge such differences, but it doesn't suit their means to an end.

This post has been edified!

Oh! And i forgot to say, as one who receives the "Voice of the Martyrs," newsletter, that i feel that i have been under scrutiny right here in the U.S of A. How do i know? I will have to write it off as discernment, a suspicion at least. Some day i may know, but i'll bet that if i could dig where i am not allowed, i would find this to be true. Some things have been very strange for me lately.

Amen brother, I'm 51 and have been keeping an eye on Christian world events and I have never seen this type of thing happening. These are truly warning signs of what coming and although I believe God will rapture his church from the arms of the beast, I think like any temptation we go though God will wait until the last moment which means Christians my have to make a public choice between God and everything they own in this world. I have studied world history and this go's beyond rumors of wars, it reminds me of the warning signs for the Jews back in 1936 when the signs were clear that serious persecution was coming but so many were blind until it was too late. I believe time for Christians to have the luxury of choice being outspoken or silent is coming to an end sooner then we all realize and that we may be raptured out of prisons rather then in front of our TV's and swimming pools. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense that God will do some early testing sorting out.

The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the One who sent me. They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.John 15:19-22

Don't be naive. Some people will impugn your motives, others will smear your reputation—just because you believe in me. Don't be upset when they haul you before the civil authorities. Without knowing it, they've done you—and me—a favor, given you a platform for preaching the kingdom news! And don't worry about what you'll say or how you'll say it. The right words will be there; the Spirit of your Father will supply the words. When people realize it is the living God you are presenting and not some idol that makes them feel good, they are going to turn on you, even people in your own family. There is a great irony here: proclaiming so much love, experiencing so much hate! But don't quit. Don't cave in. It is all well worth it in the end. It is not success you are after in such times but survival. Be survivors! Before you've run out of options, the Son of Man will have arrived. Matthew 10:18-23

Finality of Babylon’s Fall
Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” Revelation 18:21-28

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. Revelation 2:2-5

Christian extremists disrupt Hindu Senate invocation

That video made my day to see we still have people that will stand up for what is right and let people know God is number 1.

Way to go!!!

By the way Christians do not go around cutting peoples heads off and blowing people up. We just tell the good news because we are concerned about where they will spend eternity. If we did not care we would not say anything, BUT TRUE CHRISTIANS DO!

WOW I have not seen these videos.

I am glad that the people took a stand. We need extreme Christians that will stand up and tell people that Jesus Christ is God and with out Him no one will enter the kingdom of God.

We should all be extreme Christians!

If you think setting by and not doing anything is the right thing you better think again.

Matthew 10:32-36
"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn
" 'a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law -
man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
~ 2 John 1:10-11

If you set back and say nothing, then you can tell where your allegiance is. It is not with God but with you. So if you will not take a stand you need to come to know Jesus Christ and be saved. When you do then you will give your allegiance to Him who is worthy.

Thanks for the post CWO4GUNNER.

Plow on, plow on...
David

This might be old news but new to me that European news are labeling Christian missionaries as a dangerous organization headed by George Bush. I guess George Bush isn't the Antichrist after all as some have insinuated. I didn't realize that the senate is now allowing Hindu priest to open prayer in the capitol. Wow its getting bad and this is just the beginning. Everyone better be prepared for rapture as its only going to get worse from here as the lines are being drawn between supporting Gods people or denouncing them, perhaps even to flesh and blood. I believe there is coming a time before the rapture that we will be forced to be either for God or ashamed just like Peter was tested and denied Christ and without the Holy Spirit in our lives, it will be impossible to resist threat of flesh and blood persecution. Pray and obey!
