I am sure this isn't something God would agree with. He is the creator, not man. If God would have wanted cloning, it wouldn't have taken science to discover it.

In one of my college courses this had been one of the topics I had written about.

There is alot of controversy regarding this and much of the testing had been done, and to my knowledge is still, on animals (specifically lab rats). There had been a few articles on this not to long ago where they had injected some cells (human) into one of these rates and it had developed a human ear.

For awhile there, all experaments where said to have ceaced, and funding was not to be granted-however that didn't stop these companies and I imagine they eventually did get the funding due to the proof of being able to clone human parts in order to "save lives". Though ultimatly that is not their sole motive-they do plan to clone a full human being. They are more than likely currently doing so, or has been done.

There is so much controversy in regards to this however, when you put organs into the mix and tell soicety "no one wants to die", well how many would argue with that-regardless of religious implications.

It is however very interesting to see how far science and technology have advanced-but to do so, many do not consider the implications this could have (i.e rmember Jerassic Park) Yes, I realize a very fictional movie, however the same idea applies-just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

There are good and bad sides associated with any scientic discovery/advancement... when it comes to cloning the lines are blurred-God never said we couldn't clone or scientifically advance-but then, he didn't say we could either.

Many question too-if we can clone humans-what does that say about our Christian faith (especially if scientists can "play God" and do these clones have souls... free thought..
well I suppose we may never know that for certain espically since right now it is currently just "organs".

I find it all very disturbing... and frankly... intriguing at the same time.

I think alot can be said to the complete disregard of morality within our society...

I supose though when it came down to it-should you be a patient in need of heart transplant -any dire circumstance will do- would you go through with the transplant if you knew it was a clone, knowing if you didn't you would die?

I do not understand, the clone has to be inside a living womb right? and they are born like any other, after 9 months. What is up with these water ballons with adults inside? it seems a hoax to me. Looks more like a scene of the movie Minority Report.

Anyone know the scoop on this? Creepy, sez I.

Look at some of the videos on this site: http://www.clonewatch.org. Apparently they are cloning human organs for transplant. I can’t for a minute believe that this is the real deal, but it seems pretty legit to me. The company they’re protesting on is: http://www.merrickbiotech.com, and that site looks equally real and equally creepy.

There’s even a petition, started by someone who seems to have no connection to either site: http://www.petitiononline.com/merrick/petition.html
