This just goes to show that no matter how much good a person or organization does there will always be those opposed to it that stand poised at all times to tear it down [Mt 5:11]. [Roll Eyes]

This is something that is in; in every congregation today is just a matter of time for God to expose the nature off the sin.

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?

Matthew 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Romans 9:11-24

Our Eschatology may vary even our Ecclesiology may be disputed among us but our Soteriology most assume a singularity and exclusivity which in biblical term is known as Quote; "The Narrow Way" and Quote!

I would agree that the Roman Church is lacking in sound Biblical doctrine and has some practices that are not in line with scripture. Howbeit, they do some good in the social arena such as in opposing abortion and homosexual rights, works of charity, and in other social endeavors. In many ways, some of the Roman Church activists are very moral people. Where they agree with us, I feel it is useful to work with them. We can still disagree with their theology and still support common goals.

I would hope that all that call themselves Follower of Yashua will come out from among all the filth of this world.

Those in authority of the Episcopal Church, have made it plain they stand against the Gospel of Messiah Yashua, by standing on the side of the homosexuals.

But the Roman Catholic Church is no better, the Roman Catholic Church sent a message to all true believers when they failed and continue to fail, to do anything to all the homosexual priest.

There is so much wrong with Catholic Church, I pray no one fall into that pit, and those in it, find their way out.

I highly respect the Roman Church for their stand on Gay marriages. They, hopefully, will do much to lead the way with other churches to stem the tide of this kind of abomination. I would expect that many of the rank and file in the Episcopal church will turn to the Roman Church as their place of worship. I would hope and pray that those Christains that remain in the Episcopal church will eventually be able to seize control of the leadership and turn their church back to the Scripture as the basis for their faith. Of course, if this is truly part of the end times scenario, then there probably be little hope of that.

I am not a Catholic, but I admire their courage for taking a stand on this issue.

I agree with their position. I believe homosexuality is clearly defined as a sin in the scriptures.

It will be interesting to see if other Christian denominations will respond to their request for support.

Vatican issues declaration against gay marriages.
