Greetings All,
I was searching for a new church to attend recently and I tried to look up websites of the churches. I was surprised to find that less then 25% of all churches listed in the directory had a website.
I am offering my services to those churches that need a website. No charge for designing the site. I also found a couple of sites that offer church website hosting for free. If anyone here knows of any church that could use a website feel free to give them my email. At the moment I have enough time to create approx. 5 websites per week My hope is that by creating more church websites we will bring more people to Christ and lead them to salvation.
One last thing, when you get a chance look up your church’s website if you have one. I found something in yahoo directory that kind of upset me. The search that I conducted was for local Baptist churches in San Jose, CA. I came across a few that had a link to nationalchurches.com as their website. The description under the listing had mormon references and gave the impression that those Baptist churches and mormons were one in the same. Check yahoo’s directory for your church and make sure your church doesn’t have the same link. Apparently anyone with a yahoo ID could revise a listing on yahoo. I think that’s how they added that link without the church’s knowledge.
