I do not believe the pope is the anti-christ either. People say alot of things and most people will say and do anything just to make the news!! It's sad that people are willing to risk salvation just to gain the whole world. If I didn't hear it with my own ears, I have to question it...
In His Love,
Christy

To Eduardo Grequi,

You had some really good points but that was an absolutely horrible story. This may sound harsh but your friend probably deserved what he got if he listened to advice like that! Then again, I guess it's not his fault if he was mislead by a priest. I'm in no place to judge, I just can't imagine how someone could be a priest with a belief like that.

Oh well, tonight I think we should pray that God helps guide his dedicated servants, and that He helps those who are seeking Him to identify false servants.

Not all popes have been antichrist in nature, but I guarentee there were some wrotten apples in the bunch. Some popes were so horrid in their behaviour they make Hitler and His regime look like sunday school teachers. I remember reading books in Latin/French and Yiddish about priest and nuns who left the Church who were hunted down and killed. Now come on not all people who attend the Catholic Church are lost people nor evil just like any other denomenations in Christdom and not all popes are evil. But let me tell you one true event that still curls my blood-my friend and army buddy went to the catholic chaplain for advice. My friend asked me to come with him so I did- The question he placed on the table-was this "Father how can I control my sexual urges and be holy?" Quote and Quote the Priest said go to the wall in Nurenberg and pay for a prostitute to have sex.The priest also said- Having sex is natural and not evil. First of all no man has the right to circumvent the laws of God and outright tell another person to go sin and say it is okay because human nature is that we sin. Fornication is what it is- sexual immoraliy. Well my friend listened to the Priest went and paid for sex and guess what happened. This person ended up contracting 4 verneal diseases as well as one of the first cases HTLV-III which commonly called AIDS.Eventually my friend Brad died from his advice The basic tenets of the faith from the catholic faith I subscribe to- except the pope is not, will not, and could never be God manifesto-incarnito. He is a sinner just like anyone else and will have to answer to Our Lord Jesus Christ how he leads etc... I had been going to a catholic church for a while named Corpus Christi until I moved. I believe the church is God's vessel and we should not forget to assemble together to learn and to grow and to encourage one another in faith.

I don't believe the Pope is the anti-Christ but I've been hearing some pretty disappointing things about the Pope, the Vatican, etc...

take care

I don't believe these claims have any merit at all and I definitely don't believe that the Pope is the antichrist whatsoever!!

I've always thought that the Catholic Pope must be a good man who loves the Lord, but recently I read some pretty scary claims. Check them out yourself:

The Pope sporting satanic symbols.

... And his satanic throne.

I never saw the Pope in this late, but some people are making accusation of him being an anti-christ and I definitely don't think he's the Anti-Christ.

Do these claims have any merit?
