Welcome Laurie. Crazy & off-the-wall behaviour eh? I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe you just need 1 really good Christian Friend to keep as an accountability partner. Maybe do a private Bible Study with just the 2 of you. A good friend of mine, Bill Moore sayes, "Maybe the Church you were at wasn't the best for making people feel welcome, but I don't think you should just give up. If you don't like how things are being run, you can make changes. Talk to the pastors, start your own groups." There are otehrs like you, secretly shying away in pain. Start a new trend. Hope you find an encouaging Christian Friend. I'm sure they are right in front of you.

Hey There, I'm new here.
My name is Laurie. I'm a divorced mother of 3. I have attended the same church for 4 years, and despite a lot of effort, have never fit in. Maybe because I am a single mom....maybe because I am crazy and off-the-wall....who knows, but's that's me. Lack of Christian friendships has become critical though, and after much prayer I have begun at a new church. (Wish me luck). I discovered this bulletin board and thought it might be a good place to find some friends and encouragement.
