Never heard of Veggie Tales before I became a grandmother, but now I love them all! We're the "out-of-town" grandparents and keep some of Julia's favorite things in our home. I'll watch and listen to Bob and Larry even when our Julia isn't here.

I can't wait! I saw the advertisement on their website a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I haven't heard about it anywhere else (except here now ). My daughter loves Veggie Tales, and we don't mind giving our hard earned money to their creators, so we'll most likely watch it in the theater, a rare treat.

For the first time since "Prince Of Egypt", a Christian/biblically-based movie will be getting a wide release.
That movie will be "Jonah: A Veggietales Movie", and it should be out this November. It's loosely based on the Old Testament book(Come to think of it, many bible movies, from "Ten Commandments" to "King David" are pretty much loosely based on their source material as well!) Of course, "Veggietales" might not appeal to some Christians, but I figured I'd inform the board, since this hasn't been mentioned to my knowledge. The film's main competition in it's age category, interestingly enough, will be Harry Potter II
