I forgot to update profile sorry I didnt know what born again meant. I thought it was when you're baptised as a child or infant 9like with catholic faith0 and then get baptised again by free will when you're older.

I am born again. I'm new to the faith but do belive. I'm also ordering the Torah online cause I feel its the closest to Hebrew scriptures. I haven't bonded and strengthened with God as much as I will down the line but I have faith I will have a stronger and stronger relationship I used to believe (when I wa agnostic) that Jesus existed cause its documented but didnt rise again. I am confident he did now, but that was my past.

I may go to mass (though I'm not cahtolic but my love who isnt into it but has one hundred percent italian family) cause his mom invited me. I'm really considering going back to my old church. I feel more and more that I should go there and God is telling me to. I figure like 3/ of the time I'll go to that chruch and other fourth to theirs. I dont wanna become catholic cuase I dont agree with certian things but its his family and I htink its good to learn more about them.

I intend to get back to reading scriptures more and more. I also bought a cd collection al lin order in a case of the bible (new international) on cd and each track is a different chapter of a different book!

But, a few years ago when I went to church I kinda belived in God but not fully. I belived more so Jesus existed. I also did it to feel like people my age liked me cause I didnt have many frineds.
I never bonded too much with anyone though (but never didnt get along) I think mainly my own pessimistic attitude.

But, I think the biggest proof to myself I'm born again is my outlook. Before, I was pessimistic and always suspicious people were badmouthing me/spying on me (i was teased growing up etc.0 But now, I dont feel that way. And, I defiinately judge people less on appearance and what "steryotype" I may of htought they were before. I wa stil nice and all but did judge (not so much on race but money and clothes and who they were frineds with.) But now, I discern but not judge. I know to be cautious but not judge. I'm a much more outgoing an dhappy person than I was about a year ago. I'm also more into my studies and doin well in school (I think bein born again influeced that too.)

I know I have a ways to go but I think I have th right foundations. I didnt just get baptized to do it, I wanted to and knew why.

Important to note that Baptism alone is not salvation. It is a pledge AFTER accepting Christ, of one's sincere commitment to follow Him. Also, I personally do not believe Baptism is necessary several times, as in, each time one joins a different church congregation. The first time should be all one truly needs, unless, as you've stated, your heart wasn't truly in it. If you do it again, do it for the sake of your own conscience, if you are really troubled that the first one was misguided.

If you have ANY doubts or misgivings about your salvation, there is no time like the present to seek the Lord now, humble yourself before Him, and pray the sinner's prayer--with sincereity, and your soul honestly laid bare at the foot of the throne. Just as you are.

Know that it is possible the Lord is using these times of personal crisis to swing the door wider, to usher your family members toward accepting Christ's promise into their lives.

Sometimes, all you need do is plant "Romans 10:9" into a conversation, and see where the Lord leads from there.

^^^^ I'm assured I"m born again, I just want to find a church to go to. I may get rebaptized eventually at whatever churchfaith I chose cause I wasnt with it when I was baptized last year (I did accept God and wanted it but had a mental breakdown and wasnt all with it. I know I am still saved and born again but I wanna be fully with it and fully enjoy my baptism.)

thanks for support.

my mom is getting a colonoscopy this morning/tommorrow morning. I would loe prayer about her operation or whatever they do going alright and not too painful. I would love her to hae nothin bad, but if there is tha it is a mild thing she can overcome. also, she ued to be a firm beliver and lost faith. i'm thinkin more and more shes agnostic, not atheist so I'd love prayer for her to find God.

I'm thinkng of goin to church (im a new christian and attended only 3 services with friends since then.) No sure if this weekend or within a cuople weeks. I'm thinkin of my old church nodemonenal "chruch of God" If that doesn't work, I may try a baptit or Luthean. Ive heard they are the closest in what they teach with the gospel etc.

And, prayer for my eyes. He hada catarax surgery on one eye last week and is getting it for his other soon He's also a double amputee with pain. I found out he was baptized at 4 under cahtolocism. I didnt know that but know he considers God and all that magic and the bible as a book of fiary tales (basically an atheist.) I'd appreciate prayer for him too.

My love is having a job interview this afternoon, so any prayers would be very nice. he has spine ambifita and i know its not good to judge but i wonder if he has a hard time getting a career cause of how much a company would have to pay for his insurance plan.

And, please, more sleep and better sleep.

tahnk you
