Heavenly Father, I praise You and honour You, You are the source of life, our Creator and our Healer. The scriptures tells us nothing is too difficult for You and Lord I lift up brother Joel to You in prayer and ask that You shower Your peace unto him and grant him the faith to trust in You. Lord stretch out Your mighty healing hands and restore his health, grant him more days that he may continue to serve You and glorify Your name. In Jesus's name AMEN!!!!!

Dear brothers and sisters,
Many of you will probably remember that a dear former member of this board, njclary as he was known here, suffered a heart attack this past spring, and I posted a request for prayers for him.
Brother Joel suffered a second heart attack this past Wednesday. While he is apparently recovering well, he is becoming discouraged and is realizing his own mortality. He is speaking of being unhappy that he has developed heart disease at the young age of 62, and has made reference to the Lord's taking him home.
While his attitude is really quite upbeat now, he certainly can use all the prayers we can muster for him.
