Fiabug, on behalf of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I welcome you to this forum. I know that it is the will of God that you registered and became part of this forum. Blessings to you. I am honored to be the first to post a reply to your prayer request.
I am praying to our Father in Heaven in the Name of his son Jesus that you will find a job that will support you and your child.
Please as I pray for you do this for my Jesus and me, as it seems to me from your post that you are missing one of the greatest blessings God has for us in this life. Attending church is not just sitting in the pew on Sunday, but attending is being part of the Body of Christ and allowing other believers to minister to you, which is a commandment of God. Make time in your life no matter what and find a church filled with the true Church where they believe the Bible that Jesus is the Christ. Take your child there and worship our Lord. You will be blessed in your life in a way that you have never been blessed. It is not here on earth that our life is complete but our true blessed hope is in our eternal life in heaven with our God.
In this day and age that we live in Satan is trying to corrupt the message of the Church. Through the media, in public education, and all over the secular world they are teaching us to accept a relative god. This relative god is not the true God and this relative god cannot bless you. How do we know the true God? Through His Word He is revealed to us. The Bible says, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” You see, your grandmother has been your preacher and she has taught you well regarding answered prayer. However, God has much more for us than is possible for us to receive on our own that’s why the Bible also says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Fiabug, Find a Bible believing church and attend, God will bless you.

I am a single mom of a beautiful 6 year old girl. We live with my mother. I've been unemployed for some time. Currently I am babysitting a friends child but it doesn't pay much.
Due to me not being able to find work in my area, I am unable to help my mother with bills and such.
We really need some prayers. We're behind on our bills. It hurts me deeply that I am unable to help my mom out like I need to be doing.
I pray to god every day and ask him to help us. I ask him to help me find a job. I am looking.
Unfortunately I question god. My grandmother always has told me since I was little that god will grant your prayers if you keep praying but not always all of them. Just because you want something doesn't mean you need it. Well in this case I need a job. So it makes me ask god "do you think I don't need a job?"
My prayers as well as my mother's prayers seem like they aren't being answered.
I do have faith in god, especially after a long time not believing if god was real or not. But I do believe he is real. He has helped my mother and I in the past. Right now I need help with a job so my mom can hold onto her house and I can help her with the bills.
