KNow ye this. There is no CHurch o Stone or Brick, but of Flesh and Bone.
I shall pray for you, and the people of your church.
But the Road God calls you to, might be a hard one.

Unfortunatly this is found throughout the "church" Sky. It is very sad that the "church" has become such a place! We need to pray for all the local bodies but I will be in prayer for your body of believers in particularly. His Will be done!

We are having problems in our leadership. Our minister is a very hard working man of God. He does his job and so much more for the people in our church and community. But our elders, deacons and "older" members seem to be doing little or nothing. Last night a group of us met with the head deacon of our church to discuss the problems we see. He, wholeheartedly, agreed with all of our issues. Issues of not wanting to change anything, issues of leaders showing up to eat, but not stay for services, leaders complaining about what is not getting done, but not volunteering to help get things done. We have lost people in our community because they were not made to feel welcome in our church, by the leaders of our church.
Please pray that the leaders listen with open ears and hearts to the issues brought forward, that we see not only a revival, but a change in our church and that it will bring us closer. A church cannot grow without change. I know that this church is where God wants me. I fear that without change I will be looking elsewhere when I know this is what God wants from me.
Thank you for your prayers.
